Krispy Kreme’s New Father’s Day Drop We’re Actually Excited About

It fills me with increased anxiety each year when it comes to picking out a gift for Father’s Day. They somehow never need anything and it feels kind of cheesy to get something off a “Unique Father’s Day Gift Guide” yet again. Some people go the homemade route to avoid the monotony, but what if we’re not good with our hands and want to give good ol’ Dad something that is sure to put a smile on his face? Well, Krispy Kreme stepped up to bat this year and if your dad likes donuts, then this year’s gift is guaranteed to be a home run.

Limited Edition Flavors

Krispy Kreme is bringing back two limited-edition donuts this June to help you celebrate your dad’s special day. The release of the 2026 Father’s Day Collection includes a dozen donuts, giving you and your dad at least 12 things to bond over.  

The first of the returning seasonal flavors is their Chocolate Iced Bowtie Donut. It is essentially just Krispy Kreme’s Chocolate Iced Donut with a dapper blue bowtie iced on top―but when you’re looking for a safe gift to get dad, then classic is the way to go, right? The second of the novelty treats included in the dozen is a standard glazed donut with white vanilla icing. It’s then topped with two interwoven drizzles of chocolate and light blue icing to pair with the colors of the bowtie donut.  

The two specialty donuts will accompany fan-favorites Original Glazed and Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles for the brief collection. No matter your Father’s Day weekend plans, Krispy Kreme has got you covered. The collection launches early on Thursday, June 18, and will extend through Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21.  

Is this the most innovative gift for Father’s Day? No. But is it always exciting to get handed a big box-full of donuts? Yes! And these are so classic in flavor and style that they’re guaranteed to go down a hit. They even have some extra flair to make your dad stand out. This dozen, along with a card and a big hug, aren’t over the top gifts, but they do say “I love you” in an extra delicious way.
