Reese’s Puffs has always had a pretty simple flavor formula: peanut butter, chocolate and a whole lot of crunch. General Mills says the cereal is made with real Reese’s peanut butter and Hershey’s cocoa, which gives you those sweet, crunchy corn puffs.

The new PB&J version keeps that peanut butter and chocolate base but adds strawberry jelly flavor to the mix. This may sound like an obvious idea, especially considering how popular peanut butter and jelly has been as a flavor combination. Reese’s itself has already leaned heavily into the idea. The brand brought back its Strawberry PB&J Peanut Butter Cups in April 2026 after fans responded strongly to the flavor’s original. Those cups pair Reese’s classic peanut butter and milk chocolate with a strawberry-flavored filling.

Now that same general flavor idea is moving into the cereal aisle. And honestly, it was time we got the Strawberry flavor, as Reese’s Puffs chocolate and peanut butter flavors have been around since 1994.

A taste test shared on TikTok by @cereallife gives an early idea of what the cereal actually tastes like, and the reaction was pretty enthusiastic.

The creator described the strawberry flavor as having a noticeable punch and said it worked particularly well alongside the peanut butter and chocolate. I think that’s a pretty important bit of information because strawberry flavor can sometimes overpower other ingredients, especially in candy and cereal.
