Have you ever sat back during your Easter celebrations, watching your kids hunt for eggs and other sweet treats, and thought, “Man, this is fun. I love Easter. But I wonder what the top 10 Easter candies are in the country? What are the majority of people buying for their little ones and themselves? And is there a delivery service that might inform me of this knowledge with curated data?”

Well, we think you have thought that, guys. And honestly? It’s quite interesting to see what everyone turns to this time of the year. Thankfully, DoorDash has delivered by revealing the top 10 most-ordered Easter sweets across the country, which it laid out using information from last year’s festivities. Here’s what everyone’s been picking up for their baskets.

It’s All About Reese’s Pieces, People

According to DoorDash, the most-ordered candy around Easter time across the whole country is:

  1. Reese’s Pieces Easter Candy Gift Bags, which is also the top item in seven different states.
  2. Palmer Double Crisp Lil’ Crispy Bunny in second position.
  3. M&M’s Easter Bunny Cane comes in third.
  4. Lindt Gold Bunny, a classic, comes in fourth place.
  5. Hershey’s Hershey-Ets Easter Candy. They come in a little carrot bag. It’s cute.
  6. Oreo Chocolate Sandwich Cookies Easter Egg in sixth.
  7. Reese’s Peanut Butter Bunny (which, interestingly, was the top pick in 35 states, but didn’t take the top spot overall).,
  8. Russell Stover Solid Bunny—a surprisingly tasty budget chocolate bunny.
  9. Reese’s Peanut Butter Creme Egg—definitely thought this would be higher.
  10. M&M’s Pastel Easter Candy. When it comes to Easter candy, it’s all about chocolate.

Peeps Are Going Pastel

It’s interesting to see that Peeps, that Easter candy staple(which currently has a new chili lime mango flavor out), didn’t crack the top 10 – but DoorDash also supplied some interesting info about people’s buying habits around this classic sweet treat. Yellow Peeps still take the top spot, but people are increasingly veering towards the pastel-colored options, with its blue candy taking second position. Lavender was also a popular choice.

Elsewhere, some states favored gummy candies over chocolate ones, with Delaware, Hawaii, and Virginia opting for Haribo Sour Easter Grass over other choices. DoorDash’s data also revealed the other items that people tend to stock up on pronto during Easter weekend: storage baskets, sidewalk chalk, food coloring, water toys, brunch options, and new girls all see big spikes around this time of the year. Turns out we’re all very predictable. Oh, and sparkling wine sees a 60% jump during Easter, too, as everyone pops the bubbly.
