Summer’s right around the corner and Aldi’s in full prep mode. They’re putting out some heavy hitters for summertime, when you’re up to your ears in fun things to do. Who the heck wants to make a whole shopping list of ingredients to cook up yourself when you could be chilling by a pool instead? Oh and did you know Mother’s Day is also right around the corner? Like actually at the corner because it’s today. Don’t worry, Aldi has a last-minute gift that’ll really impress.

Park Street Deli Chipotle or Bacon Ranch Chicken Salad (5/13; $5.49)
Something about summer just screams chicken salad. Aldi seems to agree with me, because they’re releasing two new chicken salads just in time for the warmer months: Chipotle and Bacon Ranch. Put a day-old croissant to good use by plopping a fat scoop of either of these inside.
Whole & Simple Gnocchi or Fusilli with Pesto Pasta (5/13; $3.99)
Every day I feel like Sisyphus. My boulder to push is deciding what the heck I’m going to have for lunch. Aldi’s doing a bit of heavy lifting on that front by making a tempting $4 pesto pasta that I can heat and eat. Now I just have to decide if I’m in a gnocchi or fusilli mood.
Bremer Potato & Onion Pierogies (5/13; $9.99)
Aldi’s pierogies aren’t “new,” but they come and go and we love when these potato-y little dumplings return. Before you get sticker shock—$10 for frozen pierogies??—keep in mind these are coming in a 4lb bag, with approximately 48 pierogies (the equivalent of 12 servings). That’s a deal!
Moser Roth Delice Fine Truffles (5/13; $3.49)
A Mother’s Day gift made easy. Moser Roth’s Delice Fine Truffles come in three flavors: mango, strawberry, and coconut. You can buy your mom’s favorite flavor or get a whole assortment if she’s not too picky. Heck, Aldi’s made them so cheap that you can spoil her rotten with a boatload of them.
Aldi Chocolate Covered Pie Bites (5/13; $5.49)
Okay, that last one was for mom, but these are all for us. They’re too good to give away. Each package comes with ten bite-sized pie bits available in key lime, coconut cream, or banana cream. It’s like Aldi knows I’m trying to look good for the beach and they want to sabotage me.
