Some of Your Favorite Ben & Jerry’s Flavors Are Getting Stuck on a Stick

You heard it here first, folks (or maybe you didn’t, I don’t know you like that), Ben & Jerry’s is flippin’ the script in 2026. The ever-creative, constantly innovative ice cream superpower is doing something new that we’ve never seen before…well…at least not from them. Have we seen it from almost every other ice cream brand under the sun? Pretty much. That’s right, our buddies Benny and Jer (and, of course, their corporate parent Magnum) are jumpin’ on the ice cream bar train.

The new line of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bars includes pint-to-bar translations of three existing flavors: Cookie Dough, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and Strawberry Cheesecake. They’re also launching two bar-only flavors: PB Pretzel and Caramel Blondie. Is this a sign that 2026 might be almost tolerable? Is Ben & Jerry’s going to single-handedly (because that’s all it takes to eat an ice cream bar) turn things around for us? Let’s talk about it, I’m certainly in the moo’d for a change.

Will these new Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bars have coatings? Fillings? A little sprinkle of Vermont magic that makes a brand new flannel appear on your body when you take a bite?

Turns out, in true Ben & Jerry’s fashion, these will not just be your plain ol’ pedestrian “ice cream on a stick.” Each flavor has a unique and very tasty-looking composition. The Cookie Dough is B&J’s cookie dough ice cream dipped in a chocolate coating that has cookie pieces in it, and the Chocolate Fudge Brownie has chocolate ice cream with fudge brownie chunks and the same chocolate/cookie pieces coating as the cookie dough bar. The Strawberry Cheesecake bar has cheesecake ice cream with a strawberry swirl, dipped in a white chocolate coating with graham cracker pieces (YUM! ya girl loves a graham). And the two new flavors are no slouches either, with the PB Pretzel boasting peanut butter ice cream with peanut butter swirls, dipped in a chocolate coating with pretzel pieces, and the Caramel Blondie flavor (perhaps the most intriguing of the bunch) will have caramel ice cream with a salted caramel swirl and big ol’ chunks of blonde brownies, all dipped in a white chocolate coating with cookie pieces. I cannot stress enough that I would like to try all of these, like, yesterday.

Unfortunately for me, and any fellow ice cream fans with good taste, we have to wait until January 2026 to get our hands on these bad boys, when they hit grocery stores in packs of four 2.5 oz bars. Apparently, the Cookie Dough flavor will be sold individually at convenience stores starting in spring 2026. Basically, there is a lot to look forward to, and that’s big these days. Thank you, Ben & Jerry’s, for raising the (ice cream) bar for us and giving us a sweet frozen treat to get us through the winter. Though for the record, a flannel would be nice too*.
