Nothing, truly nothing, sells like nostalgia does. The power of offering people something that reminds them of a time when things were waaaay simpler and didn’t feel all “end of the world as we know it”-y can’t be understated, especially right now, for more reasons than we care to count. 2026 has already seen its fair share of companies wielding said power and reviving old-school foods or products that make us all feel a bit more cozy, from banana pudding-flavored ice cream to classic JELL-O molds that make us feel young and hopeful again.

Now, Burger King’s getting in on all that nostalgia action. The chain has just dropped a new King Jr. meal with Hasbro that comes with a range of ‘90s toys, and we are, of course, obsessed. Here’s what you need to know.
What Toys Come in the New King Jr. Meals?
Ah, the burning question. As @markie_devo reports, these new meals have one of eight toys inside, two each of a Furby, My Little Pony, Transformer, or mini Nerf gun. On the Furby side, you’ve got Fortune Teller and Laugh Attack; on the My Little Pony one, it’s with Twilight Sparkle or Pinkie Pie. Transformers fans can get their hands on either Optimus Prime or Bumble Bee, and for all you Nerf lovers, you can avail yourself of an Aqua Drencher or Sideway Soaker.
Naturally, it’s one per kids’ meal – and naturally, we would like all of them, please. Bear in mind that, if this news causes you to run to your car and drive to your local BK imminently, restaurants might want to clear out old stock from their similarly nostalgic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meals.
Okay, and What Food Comes in the New King Jr. Meals?
To be honest, Burger King’s not reinventing the wheel here. It’s your standard King Jr. fare: Pick from a hamburger, cheeseburger, or chicken nuggets, with applesauce, onion rings, or fries on the side. You also get juice, and that all-important paper crown.
Where Can I Get My Hands on One?
Burger King is stocking these new Hasbro meals at participating locations, but we’d imagine that’ll be a pretty wide spread of stores. Check in advance to avoid disappointing your kids (but let’s be honest, you’re going to get way more out of these nostalgic toys than them).
How Long Will They Be Around for?
Hasbro & Burger King’s collaboration is a limited-time deal only, and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Will you have time to collect all eight? That remains to be seen. For now, though, we’d get started on reliving all of that glorious youth.
