You Can Now Get Crystal Light and Vodka in a Can

Crystal Light has made drinking water decidedly more fun for over 40 years, much to the delight of some of my favorite people, people who “don’t like water.” Fascinating. Now, for the first time, Crystal Light has set their sights on sprucing up another clear liquid (that may, in some cases, also be found inside water bottles)—vodka! Crystal Light is entering the low calorie, ready-to-drink cocktail market with the release of Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers.

Crystal Light and vodka? Who woulda thought? A lot of people, actually.

I’m a woman of the people, so I simply can’t give Crystal Light credit for the idea of mixing their signature product with vodka. Vodka drinkers across the globe have been using Crystal Light as a mixer for decades, and the company knows that. In fact, they report that one in five Crystal Light users regularly do so. I’d like to think of these new Vodka Refreshers as Crystal Light tipping their hat to this inventive subgroup of consumers and stepping up to the increasing demand for premade low calorie cocktails.

What will Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers taste like?

The new Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers are lightly carbonated and come in the fan-favorite Lemonade and Wild Strawberry flavors. Each 12 oz can contains only 77 calories, with 0g of carbs and sugar. That calorie count may have you, like me, thinking, “What, is there like a spoonful of vodka in there?” Theoretically, Crystal Light powder is only 5 calories, so if that’s really what’s in these bevs, that leaves 72 cals for the vodka, which is almost one shot. But the drink is only 3.8% ABV, which leads me to believe there is less than half a shot in each can. (For contrast, a typical vodka soda is around 10% ABV.) We’ll have to wait and see, but I expect these refreshers to be on the milder side.

When and where can you buy Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers?

Crystal Light Vodka Refreshers are available now in a $9.99 four-pack at select retailers in the Northeast. Don’t live in the Northeast? The brand says its planning on expanding to more regions in 2026.
