Alert! Alert! Little Debbie is releasing new Oatmeal Creme Pies Ice Cream Bars—and people are already finding them in the freezer aisle. Let’s break down everything we know about this exciting new Little Debbie development.

What are these new Little Debbie ice cream bars, exactly?

Inspired by Little Debbie’s classic Oatmeal Creme Pies (the best Little Debbie snack cakes), these are vanilla creme-flavored ice cream bars studded with oatmeal cookie pieces. The bars are pure ice cream—no chocolate coating in sight.

Where did this news come from?

Multiple sources have reported on these new bars on Instagram, including @markie_devo who credits his source as “Hudsonville Ice Cream, store manager.” Another snack-centric Instagrammer, @candyhunting, also reported on the release. And @onesecondscoop has even tracked down and tasted the bars.

What do they taste like?

Per @onesecondscoop, these bars are “a little chewy” but they “taste just like you would imagine.” You can bet we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for these new ice cream bars and will publish our own review ASAP.

When and where can we find these new Little Debbie ice cream bars?

According to @candyhunting, the bars will be available at Meijer, SpartanNash stores (which include places like Family Fare, Martin’s, D&W, and No Frills), Food City, and Hannaford locations by the end of the month. And you’ll have to act fast, because these babies are a limited edition summer offering.

Is this Little Debbie’s first time in the frozen aisle?

Not at all! Little Debbie has partnered with Hudsonville Ice Cream plenty of times in the past. They’ve collabed on ice cream pints, other snack cake-flavored ice cream bars, and, more recently, have released Little Debbie ice cream sandwiches.

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
