Now I wasn’t aware candy bar seasoning was a thing, but back in September of 2021, B&G Foods (a giant food company responsible for everything from Green Giant to Crisco to Cream of Wheat) came out with a seasoning called Twix Shakers Seasoning Blend. Apparently, this powder “combines the iconic chocolate bar’s crunchy cookie, soft caramel, and milk chocolate flavors to create the unmistakable essence of TWIX.”
A.) HOW DID I NOT HEAR ABOUT THIS? And, B.) Where can I find it? (Apparently, Sam’s Club.) Not sure how this product flew under my radar until now, but it looks absolutely dank, and now there is a new Snickers version to be released nationwide starting this month—and not just at Sam’s Club.
This new Snickers Shakers Seasoning Blend seems almost too good to be true.
Seriously, though. The shakeable mix supposedly “combines the iconic chocolate bar’s blend of chocolate, peanut, and caramel flavors to recreate the taste of a Snickers bar in the form of a shakeable seasoning mix.” Snickers-flavored powder you can shake onto whatever you want? Sign me up. Imagine putting it on popcorn, mixed into milk, used as an ice cream topping, sprinkled on warm sugar cookies or brownies, or oh my goodness, on yogurt-covered pretzels?! The possibilities are literally endless. Now that I know this exists, I must have it. Forget Nissan, Snickers has the innovation that truly excites.
It makes me wonder what new Snickers product is next. Snickers Oreos? Snickers La Croix? Snickers Easy Mac? That last one was definitely a joke, but I could see them doing that just to be cheeky. Also now that I’ve said it, I kind of want it (Snickers, if you’re listening, do with that what you will). Let me know if y’all try this new seasoning! And while you’re at it, maybe you can let me know whether my mac ‘n cheese idea has legs.
