Surprisingly, These New Buffalo Chicken Wing and Cheeseburger Pringles Are Vegetarian Friendly

Pringles has released a line of limited-edition “Stadium Snacks” Pringles in the UK and Europe, with each can focusing on a different American stadium food. Finally, UK snack fans can enjoy some of the tastes of an American football game with none of the actual, you know, game.

But probably the most surprising thing about these snacks is that, despite their meat-focused flavors, they’re actually vegetarian, as they don’t contain any meat products. For example, the “cheeseburger flavoring” listed in the ingredients comes from milk, onion powder and a bunch of other “flavour enhancers.” That said, they each contain milk products, so they’re definitely not vegan.

Here are the American flavors that are currently on UK store shelves:

Pringles Team Cheeseburger Flavour

Online fans who’ve tried them say that the flavor here isn’t focused on the “burger” taste, but rather the condiments on the burger. Or as one put it, “it doesn’t even taste like there’s beef or any other resemblance of other ingredients, just pickles and ketchup. I’m so disappointed.”

Pringles Team Loaded Fries Flavour

It seems like these have been the hardest to find in the UK, as comments on the other two Stadium Snacks have included a bunch of fans complaining that they couldn’t find them anywhere. But they’ve definitely popped up in Germany, and one online review of it said that it definitely gave cheesy flavor with a bit of smokiness that tasted like paprika or bacon.

The online posts about this one were a little less positive, with one Redditor writing, “not very buffalo chicken-y. they have a building heat the more you devour, but i definitely think they are lacking something. probably actual chicken flavouring/powder i guess. mild tang, look very seasoned but need something else… basically just a chilli flavour i would say.”

While you won’t find these new Pringles flavors in your regular grocery store, you can order the Buffalo Chicken Wing flavor and the Cheeseburger flavor from 203 Exotics.
