Are you a Left Twix person or a Right Twix person? Well, that’s great, but the more important question at the moment is: Are you a spooky Twix person? Okay, good! Earlier today, Mars—the brand behind a lot of your favorite candies, from M&M’s to Skittles—revealed its 2026 Halloween candy lineup, and it features not one but two varieties of seasonal Twix.

New Halloween Twix AND returning Halloween Twix

For the past several months or so, Twix has been dabbling in new shapes. Instead of pairs of bars in new, interesting flavors, their seasonal offerings have been things like individually wrapped Twix shaped like baskets for Easter and Twix shaped like snowmen for the winter holidays. They’re continuing the tradition with Twix Skulls. Same idea as the Twix you know and love: there’s a cookie layer and a caramel layer and both are coated in milk chocolate.

Now, as much as we love the artistry of it all—truly, the new skulls are very cute and a little bit scary being faces with no skin and all—we haven’t been that thrilled with any of the Twix shapes yet. The cookie-caramel-chocolate ratio in a regular ol’ Twix bar is basically perfect. But the ratios in the shapes tend to be a little off. The cookie is too thick or there’s too much caramel.

But the good news is that if you’re into the regular Twix ratios, Ghoulish Green Twix are coming back for Halloween, too! They’re identical to regular fun-size Twix—same taste, same ratios—except that the cookie is dyed green. Not totally necessary, but cute all the same!

You don’t have to wait until fall to get either of these Halloween Twix

Have you ever heard of seasonal creep? It’s the phenomenon where spooky season starts in the summer and Christmas starts right after Halloween. Anyway, it’s not necessarily a bad thing, especially because it means Halloween candy comes out early. According to Mars, the entire Halloween lineup will start rolling out this summer.

Gwynedd Stuart

Howdy! I’m Gwynedd, Sporked’s managing editor. I live in Los Angeles and have access to the best tacos the U.S. has to offer—but I’m a sucker for a crunchy Old El Paso taco night every now and then. I’ve been at Sporked since 2022 and I’m still searching frozen mozzarella sticks that can hold a candle to restaurant sticks. Why you should trust me: I’ve been a journalist for 20 years (yikes), a consumer of food for 40-plus years, and I’m truly hard pressed to think of foods I don’t like (or that I can’t tolerate at the very least). Oh and one time I cooked my way through Guy Fieri’s cookbook and wrote about the journey through Flavortown. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s Original Savory Thins. Fat free plain yogurt (usually Fage or Nancy’s). Honeycrisp apples. Sweet cream coffee creamer for my at-home Americanos. A frozen cauliflower crust pizza and some jarred mushrooms to top it with. Old El Paso Stand ‘N Stuff taco shells and Gardein Ground Be’f, even though I think “be’f” is a nightmarish contraction. Favorite ranking: Stouffer’s frozen dinners. I don’t own a microwave (I get my cancers the old fashioned way!), so I love taste testing things that I don’t really buy to eat at home. Least favorite ranking: Soy sauce. Don’t get me wrong, I love soy sauce—but consuming that much sodium in one sitting is probably illegal in some countries. Our frozen enchilada taste test was a close second; the smell of microwaved corn tortillas still haunts me.
