An all new creation from Old El Paso and Tabasco is heating up store shelves now.

One of the longest-running Mexican food brands around is Old El Paso, which has been on store shelves since 1938 and is famed for making everyone’s go-to taco kits. But now they’re teaming up with classic pepper hot sauce company Tabasco to release a line of spicy taco shells and seasoning. If you can never get enough hot sauce on your Tacos, why not add it to your taco shells?
The two are joining forces on two new products, which are hitting stores now.
Old El Paso and Tabasco launch Stand ‘N Stuff Taco Shells
These gluten-free taco shells are flavored with Tabasco for a spicy kick. Oh, and the “Stand ‘N Stuff” name comes from the fact that they have a flat bottom, so you don’t have to worry them falling over if you put them down. It’s pretty revolutionary and life-changing if you haven’t tried it yet. Seriously, there’s no way to go back to the regular hard-shell tacos after enjoying a Stand ‘N Stuff.
You get 10 taco shells in a box and the brand suggests you heat them before eating for the best results.
But that’s not all! Old El Paso and Tabasco launch Taco Seasoning Mix
This “spicy heat level” mix of seasoning adds Tabasco Red Pepper Sauce to a mix of chili pepper and cumin to add some heat to your ground beef or other taco seasoning. The brand also recommends using it in everything from soups to dips.
Old El Paso is celebrating Taco Totality
In 2026, Cinco de Mayo falls on a Tuesday (aka Taco Tuesday). And Old El Paso is calling this phenomena “Taco Totality.” To celebrate the occurrence, the brand dropped a limited edition “Gear Box” filled with Old El Paso Tabasco Sauce Flavored Taco Shells, a Taco Totality T-shirt, a neck pillow, and “Taco Shield Glasses” to protect your eyes from onion fumes. Unfortunately, the sweepstakes is closed. Keep an eye on ebay, though, if you’re desperate for a Taco Totality shirt.
