Pizza Hut Is Celebrating the Book It Program in the Coolest Way Possible

Oh my sweet childhood, finally back once more. Pizza Hut’s Book It program is back! Are they bringing it back to capitalize on nostalgia? Pizza Hut is bringing back their Book It program and there’s more good news―even adults can participate!

Well, we have to clarify here. The Book It program itself made a loud return on June 1st. Naturally, it got an upgrade with the times so it’s all app-based now. Go figure. The promo we’re here to talk about is a little different. Pizza Hut is in a real renaissance with their classic style. They’re bringing back their retro restaurant designs. Now, they want to celebrate the Book It participants of yesteryear.

You’re Never Too Old For A Personal Pan Pizza

Pizza Hut will be offering a one-day-only Book It deal on June 10. They’ll be handing out free personal pan pizzas (an homage to the very ones that kids still get for hitting their reading goals) to anyone who brings in a Book It button from any year. Hopefully you didn’t throw the last one out when you cleaned out your parents’ garage while spring cleaning!

Why Bring Book It Back?

Pizza Hut is launching the Summer of Hut Originals. A new platform dedicated to celebrating the food, experiences, and fans that made the brand iconic. Alongside the triumphant return of the Book It program, Pizza Hut is releasing The Crispy Parm Pan Pizza―Pizza Hut’s new take on their iconic Original Pan. Parmesan is baked onto the crust so every bite delivers a golden, cheesy crunch around their soft, pan base.

Pizza Hut’s Summer of Nostalgia

Additionally, Pizza Hut is teaming up with General Mills and Box Tops for Education to give families an easy way to support local schools. You can earn Box Tops for eligible schools by scanning receipts from your order that includes a Pizza Hut’s Book It! Family Meal on it. The Family Meal comes with one medium one-topping pizza and two one-topping personal pan pizzas for $14.99.

As summer continues, Pizza Hut will be dropping even more surprises to add to their Summer of Hut Originals. Fans can also expect new fan-favorite menu items (at throwback prices), unexpected merch partnerships, and Pizza Hut Classic location experiences.
