Easter is, of course, a festival that traditionally celebrates the resurrection of Jesus – but in our world, it celebrates bunnies! Fluffy, cute, hoppin’ little bunnies. And plenty of people agree with us. The humble bunny is everywhere in the days leading up to Easter weekend, and while they usually come in pure chocolate form (like Ghirardelli’s new chocolate bunnies), they can also turn up in any which way elsewhere.

Including as a breakfast cereal. Yep: This year we’re seeing a rerun of Reese’s Puffs Bunnies, and we can imagine there’ll be a lot of happy kids in the coming days. Here’s what to know.

Reese’s Puffs Bunnies: Hop To It

Reese’s Puffs Bunnies have been around since the mid-2010s, and when the cereal appeared, it was the latest in a long line of funky shapes from the brand. However, this Easter miracle of a breakfast food has now been firmly lodged in the hearts of customers for some time, so we’re happy to see that it’s made a comeback. This cereal is made up of chocolate and peanut-flavored corn puffs, each one in the shape of a leaping little rabbit that will hopefully stay in your bowl, and not try to make a break for it.

Although the bunnies are essentially just a variation on standard Reese’s Puffs, it’s safe to say that people are big fans of them. Some people even say that they taste better than the classic cereal, even though they’re really, kinda, sort of, exactly the same. The power of a bunny shape is strong, guys.

Where Can I Find Reese’s Puffs Bunnies?

Everywhere! Well, not everywhere, but almost everywhere. Reese’s Puffs Bunnies are available at major retailers, including Walmart and Kroger, and they’ll be in other stores, too. What we would say, though, is that you probably wanna move quickly on them, because they won’t stick around for long after Easter, and you’ll have to wait another year to get ‘em in your bowl.

What Else Is Reese’s Doing This Year?

It’s been pretty busy, but to be honest, that busyness has yielded mixed results. Reese’s has just brought out its new Marshmallow Cups, which earned a paltry 4/10 in our taste test. We’re all for trying fresh new snack ideas, but honestly, it’s gotta do better than that.

Elsewhere, it’s been hard at work churning out all of the classic Easter sweets we all know and love – and one of its items remains the most popular Easter candy in the United States. Reese’s Peanut Butter Bunnies and Reese’s Peanut Butter Creme Eggs also continue to sell at a real lick. There’s never a dull moment at this company.
