Ring Pop Is Releasing A Literal Wedding Collection

Pretty much since the invention of Ring Pops, we’ve been using them to joke around with proposals, matrimony, and all of the glitz and glamor surrounding it. There’s something about the candy that has lent itself to toying around with proposals. It’s just always come with the product. But not once has that ever been a serious concept. After all, it’s a plastic ring with an oversized hard candy gemstone attached, all in gaudy colors. It’s never been serious part of the candy or the company… that is, until now.

Ring Pop is finally capitalizing off of the joke we’ve all been making for quite some time as we often appreciate companies do. It’s like how Chipotle interacts with their customers about the water cups that they know customers are using for lemonade. Instead of trying to overcorrect how customers use their product, they lean into the lore of what people actually enjoy about the company in the first place. So naturally, a Ring Pop collection that actually is themed around nuptials seems like a long time coming. Let’s talk about this new collection, and how you can get your hands on the clever product.

Here Comes The Candy

Ring Pop actually collaborated with a celebrity event planner named Mindy Weiss to create this collection. The Wedding Collection is Ring Pop’s first-ever foray into the wedding space, so it makes sense that they would seek out the guidance from an actual wedding planner to do so.

And honestly, it feels like Ring Pop has really been able to execute something that has that extra level of detail in this launch. The Ring Pops themselves in this collection are made with a pearly white ring base and the colors of the candy are pastel purples, pinks, and yellows. Basically, if you want to integrate Ring Pops into your wedding celebrations in any capacity, then these aren’t going to look totally out of place. In fact, between the packaging and the colorways, they will fit right in.

The wrappers for each Ring Pop are colored in white and gold and read things like “off the market,” “I said yes,” and “I’m yours.” The Ring Pops come in a pack of 15, and they are available through David’s Bridal and Amazon. Given the long-standing tradition of using these as a kitschy way to tease the wedding culture, this would be a perfect addition to having at wedding showers, bachelorette parties, and as wedding favors. It’s certainly right on the nose, but we can’t say we mind that since it’s already been the joke around Ring Pops for so long. Now, they’re just finally playing into it. They’ll be out and about on the market starting in 2027, so wedding parties can stock up ahead of the 2027 wedding season.
