As a Southerner, I eat pimento cheese a lot – I wouldn’t say with every meal, but definitely a few times a month. It’s not something you often find on menus especially at fast food restaurants, but Shake Shack has just flipped the script and we’re here for it. The NYC-based fast food chain just added not one, not two, but three new pimento cheese items to its menus.

It’s worth noting that Shake Shack’s pimento cheese isn’t the classic version made with mayo and red peppers, but instead from the brand’s signature ShackSauce mixed with chopped cherry peppers. Don’t tell anyone from Kentucky.
Here’s a quick breakdown of the Clubhouse Pimento Cheese menu items:
Clubhouse Pimento Cheese Burger
A made-to-order quarter-pound patty of 100% Angus beef topped with Shake Shack’s pimento cheese spread, served with lettuce, tomato, and even more ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun.
Clubhouse Pimento Cheese Chicken Sandwich
Antibiotic-free, hand-breaded white-meat chicken breast topped with pimento cheese served with shredded lettuce, pickles, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun. As a chicken sandwich girlie, this is calling my name and loudly.
Side of Pimento
The side of pimento is only available in person at Shake Shack for $1.99 — so you’ll have to actually leave the house if you want some extra dipping goodness (it’s worth it).
How Long Will Shake Shack Have Pimento Cheese Menu Items?
There’s no information on how long the pimento cheese offerings will last at Shake Shack at locations across the U.S., but we do know it’s a limited-time offering, so you’ll want to try it for yourself before it’s too late. Hopefully they keep these items on the menu at least through the Kentucky Derby.
Need some extra motivation? Between April 9 and April 12, you can enjoy a BOGO offer on Shake Shack’s Clubhouse Pimento Cheese menu by using the code PIMENTO when ordering via the Shack app, website or in-Shack — get yourself one and another for a friend (or have both to yourself — we don’t judge, but we do ask for a bite).
