Well, you’ve really done it haven’t you. A couple of months ago, inviting a bunch of friends and coworkers over to watch the Super Bowl seemed fun—the height of conviviality, really. But now that day is almost here and you’re coming to terms with the fact that hosting said coworkers doesn’t just involve scrounging around in the garage to find enough folding chairs for everyone (cozy!), it also involves feeding them.

Now, listen: We’re grocery experts (it’s true) and we can totally direct you toward all the best chips and dips and frozen chicken wings to buy at the store for the big game, but if you simply don’t have the mental or emotional bandwidth for a trip to the store in the lead-up to Super Bowl Sunday, we can also hip you to the best Super Bowl food deals at all the good takeout and fast food spots. (Note: Some of these deals may only be valid at participating locations—check your local spot to make sure.)

Little Caesars

Everyone’s favorite purveyor of hot-and-ready pies has a deal on their Detroit-Style Slices-n-Stix (which, if you’re not famils, is a deep-dish pizza-and-cheesy breadsticks hybrid of sorts). You get one of those and a 20oz. Pepsi bev for $5.99.

Pizza Hut

I’m sure Pizza Hut’s Big New Yorker pizza is sacrilege to actual New Yorkers, but, hey, they’ll live. On Super Bowl Sunday, you can get a 16-inch Big New Yorker for 10 bucks.

Note: Several sites have listed $6 medium pizzas at Dominos among their Super Bowl food deals, but bad news: That deal expired on February 1.

Applebee’s

As a former Applebee’s employee (shout-out to the JTB location in Jacksonville, Florida), I applaud the chain for this one: If you spend $40 on the Applebee’s website or mobile app on pickup or delivery, you get 20 free boneless wings. Just use the code SBWINGS26 and then pick a sauce everyone will like

Burger King

If you’re not a member of Burger King’s Royal Perks rewards program, now would be the time to join. On Super Bowl Sunday, members can get buy-one-get-one Whoppers via the BK mobile app. That’s a lotta meat (and mayo).

Subway

If your guests are down with eating two-day-old sandwiches, we have great news! On Friday, February 6, Subway is offering two six-inch subs for $6. I wouldn’t opt for seafood salad, but a Cold Cut Combo should keep!

KFC

At select locations, KFC is offering 20 wings for $20 if you’re a member and order online. (I checked, and unfortunately this deal wasn’t available at my local KFC, so be sure to check your zip before you plan on serving cheap wings!)

Krispy Kreme

If you need some sweets to complement all those savories, Krispy Kreme has cute football-themed doughnuts, and if you buy a dozen, you can get a dozen glazed doughnuts for 2 bucks.

About the Author

Gwynedd Stuart

Howdy! I’m Gwynedd, Sporked’s managing editor. I live in Los Angeles and have access to the best tacos the U.S. has to offer—but I’m a sucker for a crunchy Old El Paso taco night every now and then. I’ve been at Sporked since 2022 and I’m still searching frozen mozzarella sticks that can hold a candle to restaurant sticks. Why you should trust me: I’ve been a journalist for 20 years (yikes), a consumer of food for 40-plus years, and I’m truly hard pressed to think of foods I don’t like (or that I can’t tolerate at the very least). Oh and one time I cooked my way through Guy Fieri’s cookbook and wrote about the journey through Flavortown. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s Original Savory Thins. Fat free plain yogurt (usually Fage or Nancy’s). Honeycrisp apples. Sweet cream coffee creamer for my at-home Americanos. A frozen cauliflower crust pizza and some jarred mushrooms to top it with. Old El Paso Stand ‘N Stuff taco shells and Gardein Ground Be’f, even though I think “be’f” is a nightmarish contraction. Favorite ranking: Stouffer’s frozen dinners. I don’t own a microwave (I get my cancers the old fashioned way!), so I love taste testing things that I don’t really buy to eat at home. Least favorite ranking: Soy sauce. Don’t get me wrong, I love soy sauce—but consuming that much sodium in one sitting is probably illegal in some countries. Our frozen enchilada taste test was a close second; the smell of microwaved corn tortillas still haunts me.
