Thanksgiving may still be a couple of months away, but Walmart is already thinking about dessert, and so should you. The retailer has rolled out a new lineup of Great Value frozen treats that are perfect for fall gatherings, holiday dinners, or anyone who just loves desserts.

The desserts are already showing up at Walmart stores and online, with most packages selling for around $3 and containing two individual portions. 

Five New Great Value Desserts

The new frozen dessert lineup covers several classic dessert flavors, so there is a little something for just about everyone. 

It includes Great Value Strawberry Shortcake Dessert Bars, Banana Pudding Dessert Bars, Double Chocolate Dessert Bars, Caramel Apple Blossoms, and Apple Berry Blossoms.

Strawberry Shortcake And Banana Pudding Get A Frozen Makeover

The Great Value Strawberry Shortcake Dessert Bar combines cake, vanilla mousse, and strawberry sauce, then finishes things off with white chocolate flakes. It comes in a two-count package, giving shoppers two individual desserts instead of one large cake that needs to be sliced.

The Great Value Banana Pudding Dessert Bar goes in a similar direction. It features cake, banana pudding, and creamy mousse, with caramel and white chocolate pieces on top. Walmart lists the bars as an 8-ounce, two-count package.

Chocolate fans have not been forgotten. The Great Value Double Chocolate Dessert Bar is made with chocolate cake and melty frosting. Unlike the strawberry and banana pudding bars, this one is designed to be warmed before serving.

The Apple Blossoms Feel Made For Fall

The Great Value Caramel Apple Blossom pairs flaky pastry with an apple filling and caramel flavor. It has the kind of combination that feels right at home on a chilly fall evening.

The Great Value Apple Berry Blossom takes the idea in another direction by pairing apple with berries inside the pastry.

Walmart also has a seasonal cookie that could become one of the easiest additions to a Thanksgiving snack table. The Great Value TWIST & SHOUT Double Filled Pumpkin Roll Sandwich Cookies is basically pumpkin roll in sandwich-cookie form.

The limited-edition cookies come in a 15.25-ounce package, and Walmart lists them at $2.97.

Pumpkin roll usually means soft pumpkin cake wrapped around a creamy filling. This cookie gives you a much simpler way to get that same fall-inspired flavor profile without having to make an actual pumpkin roll. And people are already loving them.

These Desserts Could Make Thanksgiving A Lot Sweeter

There is still plenty of time before Thanksgiving, but fans are already grabbing these Walmart’s new desserts, and who can blame them.
