This Returning Little Caesars Fave Satisfies All Of Your Cravings At Once

Listen up now, while this might be a story generally about pizza, it’s also a bit of a public service announcement to always read the fine print. Because if you don’t, you risk falling in love with something that is actually *gasp* only a limited-edition item. To be honest, it’s a modern tragedy. The only hope we have to curing such a heartbreak is the far off chance that companies will hear our cry for the return of our favorite limited-edition items and consider bringing them back, even if only for a limited time.

Well, today is a good day indeed because Little Caesars has done just that. After the limited release of the Slices-N-Sticks Detroit-style pizza from earlier this year their return to the menu this fall is a welcome addition since they quickly became a fan favorite. Let’s get into what makes this item so special, shall we?

Pizza AND Breadsticks, All In One

Now, for any of us unfamiliar with the Slices-N-Sticks from Little Caesars, I’ll admit the name isn’t really a dead giveaway for what this item actually consists of. But, I suppose it makes sense because the entire premise of this menu item is that it is half pizza and half breadsticks, hence slices (of pizza) and (bread)sticks. They just threw in some extra alliteration in there for fun.

Essentially, the Slices-N-Stick are a combination of a Detroit-style cheese or pepperoni pizza and fluffy garlic and cheese breadsticks, baked into one large, single portion. In each order you will receive two full-size rectangular slices of Detroit-style pizza and four breadsticks. The only thing dividing it up are the different toppings and the cuts. Otherwise, it really is just one entity. Of course, it’s served with sauce for dipping too. For this, Little Caesars is serving up their Crazy Sauce which is basically just the pizza sauce they’re using to make each pie.

Okay, okay, so it might not just be the taste of this pizza that’s getting people to demand its return. It’s really more its $4.99 price tag that has people showing up and showing out. There is even an entire Reddit thread under r/LittleCaesars dedicated to singing this deal’s praises. Commenters on the thread noted that while it’s advertised as a single portion this pizza-and-side combo meal is enough for dinner and lunch the next day too… if you can pace yourself.

Seeing as this consistently serves as two meals for Little Caesars customers and still only rings in at $4.99, we can see why this limited-edition item took on an instant fan-favorite status. The top comment on the Reddit thread reads, “Honestly, the Slices-N-Stix is the most underrated deal in the game right now. For the price, it’s basically the ultimate solo meal.” And that’s exactly what has us excited about the return of this item.
