It’s to promote the World Cup, but who needs an excuse for more Timbits?

To celebrate Canada’s first-time hosting the FIFA World Cup, coffee and donut chain Tim Hortons is promoting the sport with a new “Tastes of the Globe” soccer-themed bucket that includes four new “international” flavors of their classic Timbits mini-donuts.

The bucket, which features what appears to be a Timbit (or some sort of sentient meatball) playing soccer, comes with 30 Timbits for $12.99 Canadian. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any listing for the bucket on the US Tim Hortons menu, so it seems to be a Canadian exclusive for the time being.

What are the new Timbits flavors?

The four new flavors are meant to honor different FIFA nations, including Canada. The options include:

The Canadian Fireworks Timbit

Described as “a celebration in every bite,” this one is a pre-existing flavor—a Birthday Cake Timbit—but now coated with of clusters of popping candy.

The Chocolate Crème Brûlée Filled Timbit

Inspired by the classic French dessert, this one’s a chocolate Timbit filled with Venetian cream and finished with burnt sugar.

The Lime Cheesecake Filled Timbit

This one appears to be a regular Timbit, but filled with a lime cheesecake filling and topped with lime sugar to “bring a zesty taste of Brazil to every bite.”

The Cappuccino Timbit

To honor Italy, this coffee-flavored Timbit is topped with coffee-flavored donut sugar, meant to recreate the classic Italian drink.

What do you think? Should we demand Timmy Ho bring these new Timbits to the States? Let us (and Tim) know in the comments.
