Tom Cruise is associated with a lot of things: action movies, single-handedly saving cinema, jumping on couches, cake. Wait, cake?

Yep, Tom Cruise is as big a fan of cake as the next guy, and his go-to is a white chocolate coconut Bundt cake made by Doan’s Bakery in Woodland Hills, California. Cruise likes it so much that he ships it to the famous pals on his equally renowned Christmas list every December. We’re still waiting for our invite to that one, Tom.

Now we know what you’re thinking: “We don’t live anywhere near California, so why are you telling us about it?” Thankfully, this cake is also available to us mere mortals, via the good people at Goldbelly, where it retails for the somewhat eyebrow-raising price of $139.95. You might need to be lucky with your timing to buy it, though, as this cake can be in pretty short supply.

Tom Cruise Was Introduced to His Favorite Cake by Another Hollywood Star

It’s probably no surprise that Tom Cruise knows a lot of famous people, and as it turns out, it was none other than Diane Keaton who gave him this cake for the first time. According to Goldbelly, Keaton introduced Doan’s Bakery and its white chocolate coconut bundt cake to Cruise when she was working with his then-wife Katie Holmes on Mad Money. Cruise liked it so much that he asked the bakery to cater for a party at his house, and he’s been eating the cake ever since—and sendinfg it to buddies.

Cruise’s Christmas list is a who’s who of celebrity names, and each year, they all get sent one of Doan’s Bakery’s cakes. Amongst the lucky recipients are Kirsten Dunst, Tom Hanks, Rosie O’Donnell, Miles Teller, and Angela Bassett, to name but a few.

What Actually Goes into Doan’s Bakery White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake?

We can see why Cruise likes this cake so much. Doan’s Bakery’s White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake starts with a cake base, with coconut flakes and white chocolate chunks mixed into the batter. Once baked, it’s then adorned with cream cheese frosting and dusted liberally with toasted coconut flakes. The cake is packed into a delightfully fancy box for shipping, with dry ice to keep it preserved.

Unfortunately, though, because of its massive viral popularity spurred on by Mr. Cruise himself, the cake is frequently out of stock. As a result, it’s best to keep a keen eye on the Goldbelly website to nab it when you can. The good news, though, is that it’s listed as a regular product on the Doan’s Bakery website, so you’ll be able to get it year-round (unlike some others, like the Nothing Bundt Cake 2025 holiday flavors). Sure, it’s a little expensive—but that’s Hollywood, baby.
