Will 2 a.m. snacking ever be the same?

Last year, frozen pizza-manufacturer Tombstone unveiled an intriguing new addition to late-night snacking: a “french-fry-crust pizza” that featured a potato crust that simulated, well, french fries. And now they’ve added a new flavor to that lineup. Here’s what you need to know.
What’s on this new french fry crust pizza?
It’s meant to simulate the taste of garlic parmesan fries, with the pizza offering “creamy garlic sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and garlic seasoning” on a potato-based crust. And that crust is a main selling point, as its designed to give you the outside crunch and soft middle of a traditional french fry.
Think of this as a giant sheet of loaded fries, only rounder. And since it’s a potato-based crust, it’s also gluten free!
What other french fry pizzas are out there?
Tombstone has two other french fry pizzas. One’s a Chili Cheese pizza with hamburger, chili cheese sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, red onion, and parsley, while the other is a Loaded Bacon Cheddar pizza with cheddar cheese sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, bacon, and a pork belly blend.
We reviewed both of the inaugural french fry crust pizzas when they came out last year. And, unfortunately, we weren’t hugely impressed. The Chili Cheese was way too cumin-y and, while we described the Loaded Bacon Cheddar pizza as “one of those frozen food abominations that perfectly rides the line between delicious and disgusting,” we thought the crust, in general, was super strange. But, hey, recipes change! We’ll definitely be trying this new frozen pizza—fingers crossed that Tombstone did a little tweaking to make the french fry crust more french fry-y.
