These Are The Trader Joe’s Items Customers Can’t Stop Buying

People like Trader Joe’s. The sun rises, the sun sets. The fact that this supermarket has a passionate fanbase is a surprise to absolutely no one – but there are some areas that it really shines. And I mean REALLY shines.

That’s according to a recent thread on Reddit, in which one person asked their fellow Trader Joe’s customers which items they literally can’t stop buying because of how delicious they are. The thread, which was posted two days ago, now has over 2,400 comments – so clearly, there are a lot of them. Ever intrepid, we decided to highlight the items that stood out to us, that TJ’s customers simply cannot live without. 

Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

The top item by far in the thread was Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, which came up again and again (and which are also in our must-have Trader Joe’s haul). One customer said that “they whisper to me every time I pass them in the aisle”… cue Odysseus tying himself to the mast of the ship to get past them. Or something like that. 

Trader Joe’s achievement here is all the more impressive given that these are arguably a Reese’s dupe – but the store has absolutely nailed it. The fact they come in a tub makes things all the sweeter, too. 

Garlic Spread Dip

Another product that received rapturous praise from TJ’s customers was its Garlic Spread Dip. To be honest, I get it; this is making me hungry by just looking at it. A version of toum, Trader Joe’s dip can be used on, and with, virtually everything (well, everything that needs garlic…which is pretty much everything). It can be a butter replacement. It can be used to dunk your fries in. You can put it on your pizza. You can put it on your hot dogs, or your burgers, or your sandwiches. Hell, you can just eat it out of the tub if you want. We’re not judging. 

Jalapeño Cream Cheese Crispy Wontons

Leave it to Trader Joe’s to make a hybrid product that could be absolutely awful, and instead, stick the landing. Named time and time again in the Reddit thread mentioned as frankly unreasonably good, Trader Joe’s Jalapeño Cream Cheese Crispy Wontons combine pretty much everything most people want in an appetizer: Creaminess, crunch, spice, and saltiness, in one bite-sized package. One person said they once got through 24 in a single sitting. If that isn’t a testament to deliciousness, I don’t know what is (and we also love them, just FYI).
