Truff and Hidden Valley Ranch Join Forces with a Luxurious New Condiment

Back in my freshman year of college, I thought Avengers Infinity War was the crossover event of the century. Then Avengers Endgame came along. And then yesterday, Truff, the luxury hot sauce brand, announced it’s collaborating with Hidden Valley Ranch to bring us Spicy Truffle Ranch. This just might be the hottest crossover event of the summer/year/century. Sorry, Avengers!

So, what exactly is Truff Ranch and why should I care?

Well, Hidden Valley Ranch is the OG ranch dressing that has been around since 1950 (yes, it actually was the first ranch dressing). And Truff makes, seriously, one of the best hot sauces out there. Truff’s hot sauce is sweet, umami, salty, earthy, spicy (but not overpoweringly so) and contains black truffle (or white truffle if you get the extra-fancy one). It’s one of the few pricey hot sauces I will actually splurge on when I see it in stores. And now, Truff and Hidden Valley are teaming up to bring us Spicy Truffle Ranch, which combines Truff’s original Black Truffle Hot Sauce, Hidden Valley Ranch, and my wildest dreams, all bottled up in Truff’s iconic-looking giant 18 oz bottles. This is both brands’ first sauce collab, and honestly, they could not have chosen better partners to team up with.

Iconíque, beauty, luxuriance, and I WANT IT are just a few things that come to mind when I think of this collaboration. But Truff Ranch’s run will be “ultra-limited,” so if you want it as much as I do, you will need to act fast. Apparently the bottle will become available to buy on August 30 at 11 a.m. EST at TRUFF.com/HVRanch, and will cost $24.99. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? I think so. Luckily you can sign up here join the waitlist ahead of time, which I did, so fingers crossed! Although I will say, even if I don’t end up getting to try it, I am still excited for this spicy product to drop, because that means it will exist in our version of reality. And who knows, if people like it enough, maybe the brands will make it official and bring the product on permanently? Guess we’ll find out in a week or so!
