There’s nothing scarier than milk that isn’t the right color. And TruMoo has a new seasonal flavor on shelves just in time for spooky season. TruMoo’s Hocus Pocus Orange Cream Milk (yes, as in the movie Hocus Pocus) is ready to get your kids excited about drinking milk (even if they don’t recognize the characters on the jug). Let’s pour a glass and light the black flame candle, virgins.

New TruMoo Flavor!

TruMoo Hocus Pocus Orange Cream Milk

Pros: I poured myself a cup of this milk, drank it without thinking, and then realized I didn’t take any tasting notes to write up. Y’all, it’s a jug of melted orange dreamsicle ice cream! Why have we been wasting our time with other flavored milks when we could have been making this all along? This is easily the best flavored TruMoo to date—Fantastic Berry does not deserve the titular adjective. In that same review, I stated that I didn’t think fruit-flavored milk would ever work. I stand entirely corrected.

Cons: It is still 1% milk, which is not my preferred milk format. That’s a small complaint; this milk still kicks ass, I just know it’d kick more ass if it was 2%.

Wasn’t the last flavored TruMoo milk promoting a new movie?

Aw, you remembered my last milk review! TruMoo must have a great working relationship with Disney. So far, they’ve released flavored milks for Star Wars, Moana 2, Fantastic Four: First Steps, and now Hocus Pocus. While it isn’t new, Hocus Pocus absolutely has the cult following to support a promotion like this. (Jason Marsden, the voice of talking cat Thackery Binx, even hosts an annual cast reunion festival in the film’s setting of Salem, Massachusetts.) The movie got a sequel a few years ago, with another in production as we speak. Walk into any Spirit Halloween and you’ll see how popular this 30-year-old movie franchise is.
