There’s nothing like taking a trip to Waffle House to enjoy some waffles and breakfast specialties. Personally, I love the All-Star Special which comes with a waffle, eggs to order, meat and a side of your choice, but sometimes pancakes on their own are just enough. We all have memories passing by Waffle House on a road trip and begging our family to stop in for a quick bite. Even the Jonas Brothers have a song about the popular breakfast-forward restaurant so you know it’s good.

Like many restaurant chains, Waffle House has a dedicated fan base who took it to social media to share they wanted this specific waffle to come back and now is the time. And when the people speak, Waffle House listens. Yes, you read that right. For a limited time, Waffle House is bringing back the Cinnamon Crunch Waffle. It’s time to ditch the pumpkin spice and add this to your roster instead.

The Cinnamon Crunch Waffle Is Back (For Now)

If you’ve been a fan of the brand for a while, then you might remember that they introduced the waffle last November as a seasonal option on the menu. If you’re unfamiliar, the Cinnamon Crunch Waffle has cinnamon nougat is mixed into the batter and then crunchy cinnamon bits sprinkled on top. Translation: It’s sweet, crunchy, cinnamon-y, and basically everything we want in a waffle. And to top it off, there’s a whipped cream swirl for added deliciousness. This waffle is once you need to try to get the full experience―words don’t do it justice. Seriously, your taste buds need to be in the room for this one.

When Does The Cinnamon Crunch Waffle Come Back At Waffle House?

Waffle House posted on Instagram that the Cinnamon Crunch Waffle will be making a comeback, but they didn’t note a specific time frame. The only verbiage they wrote was “stay tuned,” so you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled on their social media accounts, or heck, you might even want to make a trip to your nearest Waffle House to see if they have the latest scoop. Because apparently, we’re all detectives now in the name of breakfast. We pride ourselves on having the latest food news, however, this one is pretty under wraps at least for right now. We’ll be watching this one very, very closely―and by “watching,” we mean thinking about waffles.
