I’m a Buffalo Wild Wings defender. I’ve been a fan of the chain restaurant since I was in high school. Granted, that was only a few years ago (a fact I’m definitely not lying about). For that reason, I’m excited to try the line of Pringles x Buffalo Wild Wings crisps that the pair just put out. That said, I do wish my favorite BWW sauce, honey BBQ, was given a spot but I’ll take what I can get. We have three new flavors to check out so let’s get into it.

Pringles x Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic
Pros: Delightful and true to form. There’s a bright bit of parmesan cheesyness to them that’s followed up by garlic on the back end. Funnily enough, I’m not a huge fan of Buffalo Wild Wing’s parmesan garlic sauce on actual chicken wings. This is a completely different story. They’re amazing in the best way possible. I want to circle the chip aisle at my local grocery store to wait for an employee to put out an entire case of these so I can swoop them up.
Cons: It feels unfair to say, but these are surprisingly too good? There are certainly times in my life where I could eat an entire can of Pringles in one sitting. Of all the flavors that I’ve come across, this is the flavor that I would be most likely to do that with. They’re just light enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re eating anything of substance. It’s a real double-edged sword.
Pringles x Buffalo Wild Wings Medium Buffalo
Pros: Likewise, I’m not a huge fan of Buffalo sauce in general. Thank god it’s too late to take this taste test away from me. With that caveat, I’d say a personal pro is that the Buffalo flavor these Pringles have is not overwhelming in the slightest. In fact, it might be missing entirely. There’s a general sense of spice and heat to them but definitely not a flavor profile that I’d call Buffalo.
The Pringles x Buffalo Wild Wings Medium Buffalo crisps are labeled as having a heat presence of 3 out of 5 peppers. I’d say that’s perfectly said. There’s a bit of spice that’s lingering in my mouth but I could eat the whole can and not be rushing to the fridge for a gallon of milk to cool things down.
Cons: I think the obvious con is that there isn’t an overwhelming flavor of Buffalo sauce to these. Buffalo fans will definitely be let down if they grabbed these off the shelf. If you want a Buffalo flavored chip, we have other options for you.
Pringles x Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing
Pros: This is perfection in a chip. Sorry, crisp. Pringles gets really defensive when you call their crisps chips. Let me start over. This is perfection in a crisp. It’s as if Pringles slathered Buffalo Wild Wings’ Asian Zing sauce right onto a crisp. The flavor is a flawless match.
You can particularly taste the ginger, then comes a bit of soy. Even though they’re one pepper higher on the heat scale (4 out of 5), they’re not overwhelmingly hot. They linger more than the medium Buffalo crisps without being excruciatingly hot.
Cons: Does it count as a con that these are a limited release? That’s all I got. It’s hard to critique true perfection.
