November’s here which delivers a unique dilemma for our Costco haul this month. We’ve already covered what to buy at Costco for November’s main event, Thanksgiving. And it’s not quite time to start gear up for the December holidays. So really, it’s just a normal month here at Sporked when it comes to Costco, a chance for us to get into the bread and butter of what Costco has to offer: those new and unique items that simply look like they’d be be fun to bring home. Here’s what to buy at Costco this month, before the holidays hit.

Graza Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Graza’s been taking kitchens across the country by storm for quite some time now. It even made its way into popcorn bowls with a recent Bjorn Qorn collab, which the Sporked team loved almost as much as they love Graza’s drizzle oil. Costco is a little late to the Graza game, but we’ll forgive them because they’re selling the stuff in a massive one liter bottle that’s going to look great sitting on your stove. And this stuff has the flavor to back up the aesthetics—we promise.

Brazi Bites Brazilian Cheese Bread

Poppable cheesy bread balls? Yeah, this 62-count bag ain’t lasting long if I’m around. These will make a fun Thanksgiving appetizer, if you don’t eat them all before the fam arrives. Oh and did we mention they’re gluten free?

Kirkland Signature Mini Beignets

Costco calls these beignets, but really I’d say they’re more like a sufganiyot. But whatever you call ’em, they consist of fried dough stuffed with a chocolate hazelnut filling (think: Nutella), covered in powdered sugar. These suckers come 22 to a pack, which is simply too much for my household of one, but if you buy them for your big household, please tell me how they are!

Pilgrim’s Garlic Parm Wings

There’s no bad time for chicken wings, including 3 a.m. when you finally make it back from the bars. Restaurants haven’t gotten this memo yet, so we have to take things into our own hands. Keep an enormous bag of chicken wings in your freezer for when those late night cravings hit. Costco does have Sporked’s favorite chicken wings in stock, but what’s life without a little bit of exploration. Maybe Pilgrim’s garlic parm will be a new contender.

Phillips Crab Cake Minis

Okay, okay, I know I said we weren’t going to focus on Thanksgiving or the forthcoming holidays in this roundup, but this big ol’ box of mini crab cakes (36 of them!) is perfect if you’ll be hosting a lot of people between now and January. Mini crab cakes are the ideal food to whip out for a party. They’re sophisticated, they’re bite-sized, and when they come in a box from Costco, they’re aplenty. Bonus: Philips frozen crab cakes are Sporked approved.

Carbone Alfredo Sauce

Carbone Alfredo didn’t make the cut when Sporked ranked every Carbone pasta sauce, but I tasted a sample at my local and I gotta say…it kinda slaps. The team preferred the roasted garlic version, but I’d buy a two-pack of this rich, creamy stuff any day.

Costco Food Court Combo Calzone

Because I don’t want there to be any bad blood between me and the Sporked team now that I’ve disagreed with their alfredo sauce recs, I’m adding in an additional entry here at the end. It’s my way of showing them gratitude for their work trying every item at the Costco food court. Granted, we all knew who the real winner was going to be. The untouchable, unreplicatable, undeniable best deal in the history of deals: the $1.50 hot dog combo. But something had to come in second place and it’s a new item that we haven’t talked about yet! The combo calzone is, as to be expected, a whopping pocket of pizza toppings that’s worth eating between Costco hot dogs.
