A lot of celebrity food products and drinks are straight up cash grabs. In part, that’s why we exist. We try all those weird celeb-branded hard seltzers and cereals and we tell you whether they’re actually good or a dirty waste of money. Spoiler alert: They’re mostly a waste of money. But there were two celebrity food products that we truly enjoyed in 2024. Here are the best celebrity foods released this past year.
Are Shaq Gummies the best candies we had in 2024? They are not. But these huge gummy candies are still super fun and much better than a lot of the other celeb-branded food products that came out this year. And they’re very, very big. Skip the peach, but enjoy the tang of the orange and fruit punchiness of the berry. Shaq spent a lot of his career asking Kobe Bryant how his rear end tasted, but we’re happy he chose to model his foray into confections after his face instead.
Giada De Laurentiis has done the impossible; she has made gluten free pasta so good it’s not just great gluten free pasta, it’s great pasta, period. Made with Italian-grown corn and rice flour (and even Italian water), her line of dried gluten free pasta is the best gluten free pasta we’ve ever had. The noodles cook up firm and flavorful. And the shapes are fun, too! There’s stelline (stars!), ziti corti (long, ridged ziti), and, our favorite, taccole corte (like mini lasagna sheets). Giada is a shining example to would-be-food-producing celebs everywhere. Don’t waste your star power. Use it for good.
We ate our way through hundreds of products this year to find the best. Now it’s time to honor the best of the best.

What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now).
Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test!
Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
