Y’all, we have finally reached November. The year is almost over. And while this year was a doozy (derogatory) for many, the one thing we can all agree on is that food is great and great food is even better, and we all have another chance to find some good ol’ fashioned great food at Aldi this month.
They just dropped a list of all their November seasonal items and Aldi finds, and some of the newcomers this year look just scrumptious enough to tip the scales to the positive and keep 2025 from being a complete and total wash. So let’s dive in to see what new Aldi products are hitting stores this month. Some of these November Aldi finds look so good they have us preemptively giving thanks—and it’s not even the third Thursday yet.
- Winter Wonderland Emporium Selection Cheese Advent Calendar (Available Nov. 5, $16.99)
-
Now here’s the thing. I’m not the advent calendar flavor of religious, but I do believe they are supposed to start on December 1. Given that this advent calendar is choc full o’ cheese, I am a little surprised this is becoming available at Aldi as early as November 5. That said, if they have packed it well and it is kept refrigerated, I guess most cheese can keep fairly well for a month and a half. Timing concerns aside, this just seems like a fun, tasty, mysterious advent calendar full of “24 imported cheeses” (we get no info beyond that), so color me festively intrigued and get me this box of mystery dairy right ASAP now. Plus, they say on the packaging that you can pair it with their wine and chocolate advents, so if you love Aldi, bougie food pairings, and opening little numbered cardboard doors, it sounds like you’ve got a great December ahead of you.
- Chef’s Cupboard hot Honey Cornbread Stuffing (Available Nov. 12, $1.29)
-
I am not a huge fan of stuffing. I know, I’m just as mad at me as you are. That said, if you were to make this new Hot Honey Cornbread stuffing from Aldi and offer it to me, I might just say yes and give stuffing a second chance because, oh lordy, do I love a good spicy-sweet cornbread moment. We haven’t tried this yet, so we can’t officially confirm if it is any good, but doesn’t the concept sound utterly delicious? If Aldi’s Chef’s Cupboard can make stuffing even I want to eat, I may just need to start storing some of this in my chef’s cupboard during the holiday season.
- Specially Selected Premium Marshmallows, Salted Caramel or Peppermint (Available Nov. 26, $3.49)
-
I know it’s childish. I know I’m supposed to say things like *insert posh old British lady voice* “Oh dear, this is much too sweet, I couldn’t possibly enjoy such a delectably fluffy confectionery morsel. I much prefer my warm winter drafts to consist of bitter, dreary, and dull flavors so as not to rattle my increasingly precarious constitution.” But despite my “increasingly precarious constitution” (your girl’s pushing 30), I. Like. Marshmallows. I do. And these fancy little hand-cut-looking marshmallows from Aldi that come in both Salted Caramel and Peppermint flavors look like absolutely heavenly additions to a wintry hot chocolate, or torched on top of ice cream. I like sweets and I am an adult. Two things can be true at once, sue me.
- Specially Selected Caprese or Roasted Vegetable Piadinas (Available Nov. 19, $2.49)
-
Imma be real with y’all: I had no idea what a piadina was before today. That said, the packaging from Aldi made it look like an Italian quesadilla, and the quick Google search I did told me that my instinct wasn’t too far off. These are Italian folded flatbreads filled with cheese, veggies, herbs, sometimes meat (though not in this case), and sauce. These look bomb and I think one of these, when consumed freshly heated up after a long, cold night out in November, just might cure my existence-induced lower back pain (again, she’s pushing 30).
- Specially Selected Premium Gingerbread and Pumpkin Scones (Available Nov. 15, $4.99)
-
I’m a sucker for a good grocery store scone. Are they usually buttery? No. Are they crumbly? No. Do they typically taste like the top part of a muffin if it was drier on the outside and had a more bready interior? Yes, and thank goodness for that, because while I am a huge fan of buttery, tender, technically perfect scones, I also love a grocery store bargain. A box of eight frozen scones for five bucks? That’s a deal. Plus, the gingerbread of it all? Oooohoohoo Christmas came (one month) early at Aldi this year.
- Specially Selected Truffle Mushroom or Lemon Herb AuGratin (Available Nov. 12, $2.49)
-
For the uninitiated, potatoes au gratin are French scalloped potatoes with cheese added. Truffle au gratin potatoes are not new to Aldi, although they do sound mouthwateringly decadent. The Lemon Herb flavor, however, seems to be new, and I’m curious to see if the bright flavors of lemon and herb will make the entire dish feel a little more complex and dynamic. It’s worth noting that the Lemon Herb packaging actually says “scalloped potatoes” instead of “au gratin,” but based on the picture on the packaging, cheese is still involved. Regardless, if you like the sound of a creamy, lemony, savory potato casserole, this is an Aldi find to seek out this month.
