I know we’re way past the holidays, but I have some news that feels like a late Christmas present: Nutella ice cream is hitting stores nationwide in the U.S. But wait, there’s more: Kinder Bueno ice cream is also coming to nationwide stores, too. That’s two iconic Ferrero treats soon to be available in ice cream form. I am frothing at the mouth, you guys.
What, exactly, do you mean by Nutella ice cream?
I’m so glad you asked. We’re getting pints and cones, people! Pints and cones! According to an IG post by @mnmtwinz, the new lineup includes four new ice cream products total—two from Nutella and two from Kinder Bueno. Look! I made you a list!
- Nutella Pint: chocolate hazelnut ice cream with swirls of Nutella
- Nutella Cones: the same as above, but in a sugar waffle cone!
- Kinder Bueno Pint: hazelnut flavored “frozen dessert” topped with a hazelnut disc, mixed with hazelnut swirls and crunchy chocolate bits
- Kinder Bueno Cones: the same as above, but (you’ll never guess) in a sugar waffle cone!
Apparently, these have been available outside the U.S. for a while now (mainly in Europe), and we’re finally getting them and sharing in the magic.
Okay, but where can I FIND THEM?
Well, don’t hate me, but they aren’t exactly easy to track down right now. According to this article from the Food Network, these new ice creams were supposed to hit some of our convenience stores in early December of last year, which is why people have already spotted them on GoPuff and other select stores. And the article also says they plan to roll out to national grocery stores this spring.
Basically, if you want to try Nutella and Kinder Bueno’s new ice creams ASAP, you’ll probably have to do a little research first. Maybe check Instacart and see what stores claim to have them in your area. Based on past rollouts, wider availability may take some time.
For now, we encourage you to keep an eye out and share your sightings with us, your friends, your family, even your enemies. Times are tough and we all deserve a sweet treat right about now. Godspeed, everyone.
