Here’s the deal: Cheez-It is dropping a limited edition collector’s box featuring Jimmy Butler (he’s an NBA player on the Golden State Warriors, in case you’re NBA illiterate, like me). Great! Cool! I’m sure a lot of folks are going to be very interested in purchasing a collector’s item with their favorite player on the box. But me? I’m in it for the cash.

What do you mean cash?

I’m not just talking about $10. I’m talking about getting $4,000 courtesy of Cheez-It! And there’s not just one winner. Five people will end up $4,000 richer and another 200 people will win a custom Cheez-It basketball jersey complete with your name and choice of number.

How does it work?

Buy one or more Cheez-It products (6oz or larger) between now and April 30, 2026. Then, upload your receipt to courtside.cheezit.com. Done!

What’s the catch?

Okay, so the wording is very specific. The sweepstakes rules say that winners will get $4,000 “toward courtside seats to see their favorite basketball team play.” Presumably, then, you’re not just going to get a check to use on, say, rent. You’re going to a basketball game. Still, there’s no better way to forget all that rent you owe than buy sitting courtside at an NBA game!

What if you’re genuinely interested in Jimmy Butler, what else can you get?

Hardcore Jimmy Butler fans can not only score a limited edition box of Cheez-Its (available nationwide starting in February), they can also visit cheezit.com to nab Jimmy’s Starting Lineup for $30. What is that? It’s a bundle of Jimmy’s favorite things: Cheez-Its and a bag of BIGFACE Coffee. Cheez-Its and coffee, a classic combo, especially before a big game.

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
