All New Reese’s and Almond Joy Ice Cream Bars Are Already Here

Last year, we got a trio of absolutely spectacular candy bar ice cream bars. Now, we’re getting two more—and they sound like they could be even better.

Introducing new Reese’s and Almond Joy ice cream bars

Good Humor just added Reese’s Crunchy Peanut Butter and Almond Joy ice cream bars to its roster, capturing the gooey, chocolaty goodness of the beloved candies and reimagining them as frozen desserts.

The Reese’s bars are made with smooth peanut butter ice cream layered with Reese’s peanut butter, and coated in chocolate with peanuts on top. Meanwhile, while Almond Joy isn’t quite as popular as Reese’s (there’s a reason why it ranked at #5 of the last candies left in your Halloween bowl), this ice cream bar might turn coconut haters into fans, as it sounds delightful. It’s made with coconut ice cream, layered with chocolate sauce and almond pieces, so you get a great texture contrast between the creaminess of the coconut and the crunch of the almonds and the hardened chocolate filling.

Each bar has 140 calories, with 6 per box, and is made with 100-percent real ice cream.

When can you get these new ice cream bars?

According to @candyhunting on Instagram, these new ice cream bars are rolling out in stores nationwide any day now. In fact, they already spotted the Reese’s ice cream bars at their local Hy-Vee.

Has this ever been done before?

While we’ve never seen anything quite like this, it isn’t the first time there’s been a Reese’s-inspired ice cream. There have been various chocolate-based ice cream flavors, including Klondike squares filled with peanut butter instead of vanilla, Reese’s Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cone Duos, ice cream sandwiches, and Reese’s Pieces tubs. While there are multiple recipes online for making your own Almond Joy ice cream, no version has been available in stores until now.
