Last year, HI-CHEW released their first mystery flavor (or at least, their first American mystery flavor). I tried it as part of my giant, jaw-weakening Every Flavor Ranking here on Sporked, and I was so confident that I knew the flavor! The combination of sweet fruit and tart citrus was obviously Cherry Limeade; it’s crazy there wasn’t already a Cherry Limeade HI-CHEW! Seriously, with that many flavors based on drinks, you’d think Cherry Limeade would be a first ballot pick. Alas, I turned out to be wrong… barely.

What was HI-CHEW’s first mystery flavor?

After the dust settled on Halloween 2025, HI-CHEW revealed their spooky mystery flavor to be… Cherry Lemonade. Oh, you wouldn’t believe how mad I was when I found out. I assume plenty of other people fell into the trap of guessing the far more popular cherry-citrus drink, but in hindsight, the HI-CHEW flavor in question is absolutely closer to lemon than lime. I’ll forgive HI-CHEW this time around, but we better not see this kind of trickery again.

What is HI-CHEW’s Easter Mystery Flavor?

While we don’t know for sure just yet, the brand has given us all a significant nudge in the right direction. HI-CHEW’s website reveals the Easter Mystery Flavor is a combination of two of the following flavors: Dragon Fruit, Fruit Punch, Grape, Green Apple, Key Lime Pie, Lemon, Lychee, Mango, Orange Creamsicle, Peach, Strawberry, and Watermelon.

HI-CHEW’s Easter Mystery Flavor is hitting shelves now in their new Easter Mystery Mix bags. These new seasonal bags contain the yet-to-be-revealed mystery flavor alongside Rainbow Sherbet, Strawberry Lemonade, and Yuzu Lime. As Sporked‘s resident HI-CHEW reviewer, I can tell you this is a solid mix. Rainbow Sherbet and Strawberry Lemonade both got an 8/10 score in my ranking, while Yuzu Lime…well, they can’t all be winners.
