While the nominees, winners, and plus-ones were provided with snack packs from Conan O’Brien himself at last night’s Academy Awards, the Skinny Pop and Swedish Fish weren’t enough to satiate the appetite of Best Actor winner for Sinners, Michael B. Jordan. I mean, the man played two roles so he was technically accepting for two actors. That’ll make anyone hungry. He was spotted at a popular fast food chain after the ceremony and before the Vanity Fair party.

Just spill: where did Michael B. Jordan eat?!

Michael stopped for a bite at In-N-Out, of course! There doesn’t seem to be a celeb out there who won’t make an unscheduled detour to In-N-Out dressed in their finery. According to Vogue it’s practically a tradition at this point. Stars like Hillary Swank, Julia Roberts, and Ang Lee have celebrated their wins with a Double-Double or some Animal-Style Fries.

Michael didn’t just sneak through the drive-thru, either. He walked right into a Hollywood In-N-Out location, carrying his Oscar, and was met with a standing ovation. Fans were, understandably, delighted.

What did Michael B. Jordan order at In-N-Out?

His order appears to be two burgers (possibly cheeseburgers) and two orders of fries. And, apparently, one fan took off with the remainder of said fries. In his account of the encounter, Thom Whitfield wrote, “We decided to head to In N Out before heading home. What followed was one of the most insane things I’ve ever experienced. The timing, absolutely perfect. Meeting a major Hollywood star, a Best Actor Oscar Winner, within a couple of hours of it happening. Starstruck. Totally awesome. Then we stole his fries.”

So who got the real award last night? Michael or Thom? (It was Michael.)

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
