New sodas are dropping all the time—it’s one of the reasons I still have a job, because someone needs to report on this stuff. That’s great! New fizzy sweet things to distract from everything else that’s going on! Yum! But there can be so many new sodas it’s hard to keep track. So, I’ve pulled together a list of the most exciting new soda releases that are currently on shelves or arriving next month. Happy burping.

Sprite Chill Mango Citrus

I never expected to love Sprite Chill. I thought the concept was gimmicky and, before I tasted it, I worried that it would be toothpaste-y because of the chill factor. But Sprite Chill is good, especially the Cherry Lime, which topped our ranking of Sprite flavors. So I’m psyched to try the newest Sprite Chill flavor, Mango Citrus. It’s hitting Walmart shelves as we speak—if you’re really quiet, maybe you can hear it. Shhhh. There it is.

Dirty Mountain Dew

Dirty sodas are taking over. Not only are national chains like Taco Bell taking on the trend, but soda companies are canning the dang things. After a year of whispers and rumors, Mountain Dew’s new Dirty Dew is finally headed to stores now. Our own Tyler Bowers got a sneak preview and gave both the full sugar and the zero sugar high marks

Fanta Crimson Sour Cherry

This new, limited edition Fanta is made in collaboration with Diabo IX and Xbox. I’m a devoted Nintendo gal, so I don’t really know what that means. But I do know that sour cherry-flavored soda sounds delicious. This new Fanta arrives in April and leaves shelves in June, so you have to be quick to snag a bottle.

7UP Endless Summer Mandarin Orange

We didn’t love 7UP’s Watermelon & Strawberry 7UP—okay, we flat out didn’t like it—but that doesn’t mean we won’t love this new 7UP flavor. It’s hitting Kroger shelves (and shelves at Kroger-owned stores) in April. Look out for our review!

Mr. Pibb Thrillin’ Vanilla & Mr. Pibb Punchin’ Peach

Mr. Pibb is back, baby! Not only did Coca-Cola’s answer to Dr Pepper return with a new, revamped formula, it’s also coming out in two new flavors. You can find Punchin’ Peach and Thrillin’ Vanilla on shelves at retailers in the West, Midwest, Southeast, and Mid-Atlantic. Sorry, Northeast!

Justine Sterling

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
