Where would we be without sauce? What an uncivilized, bland alternate reality. Thankfully, we haven’t yet slipped into that sauce-less black hole and there are plenty of new sauces making their way onto shelves as we speak. Here are ten new sauces and condiments I am particularly excited to try this month.

Truff Aioli
Truff, which has cornered the market on truffle oil and truffle hot sauce, has set its sights on the aioli sector. They’re releasing three new flavored aiolis: Classic Truffle, Smoky Jalapeno, and Garlic Parm Caesar. The Classic Truffle and Garlic Parm Caesar seem like no-brainers, but truffle-flavored Smoky Jalapeno? I’m skeptical but if anyone can convince me it’s Truff.
French’s Hot Honey Mustard & French’s Maple Mustard
French’s is releasing two new mustards: Hot Honey and Maple. I can take or leave the Hot Honey, but Maple sounds delicious. I’ve already got my black forest ham on rye ready for a big ol’ squirt.
Trader Joe’s Hot Honey Mustard
What do you know?! Another hot honey mustard! Initially, I wasn’t too excited about this new Trader Joe’s condiment (I have serious hot honey fatigue), but the reviews have been glowing with some folks saying this is the best Trader Joe’s sauce of all time. Bring it on.
Hidden Valley Yum Yum Ranch
Hidden Valley describes its new Yum Yum sauce as “buttermilk with the sweet, smoky and tangy flavors of garlic, onion, paprika and more.” Sounds pretty damn good, if you ask me. Traditionally, yum yum sauce is more of a spicy mayo, but I’m def down to try this tangier, saucier take.
Chipotle Cilantro Lime Sauce
People are kinda freaking out about Chipotle’s new sauce made with cilantro, lime, and roasted jalapenos. And the company has touted it as the “highest-performing sauce in company test markets to date.” It sounds incredible. I’m a big cilantro fan (doesn’t taste like soap to me!) and I love a roasted chili pepper. You can bet this is going on my next carnitas taco.
Hellmann’s Japanese-Inspired Mayo
Hellmann’s is taking on Kewpie. And, to be perfectly honest, I doubt they’re going to rival the classic Japanese mayo—but I appreciate the effort and I look forward to tasting it.
Helluva Good Grillo’s Pickle Dip
I know, I know, this isn’t technically a sauce—it’s a dip. But I won’t just be using this as a dip. It’s getting spread on sandwiches. It’s being swiped on the bottom of a plate before being topped with crispy fried chicken. It’s going on fish tacos.
