New Cookies We Can’t Wait to Try This Summer

Summer 2026 wants to be good to us, I can already tell. Between new savory snacks and fast food treats—not to mention all the crazy restaurant deals in April—I feel like the food world is trying to give us all a nice big hug right now. The world is on fire, but hey! Look over here!! New cookies!!!

No, seriously. So many new cookies are coming to grocery stores right now. My FYP has been inundated with updates. I went through the trouble of putting them all in a nice lil’ list for you. Shhh, you don’t have to thank me; doing this almost gave me the same amount of dopamine as buying them would.

Two new jumbo-sized Bettergoods Cookies exclusive to Walmart were announced around April Fool’s Day… but we’ve confirmed they were NOT a joke.

People have spotted these new Walmart cookies in stores already. (I can’t find them on Walmart’s online store yet here in LA, so this might be a quiet rollout over the next few weeks, just FYI. But they ARE real.)

Bettergoods Cookie Butter Stuffed White Chocolate Chip Cookie: A cookie stuffed with cookie butter… incestuous. I love it. It looks like these are soft, bakery-style cookies with a thick amount of filling. Hubba hubba.
Bettergoods Grape Jelly Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies: So PB&J in cookie form, basically. I’m seeing what looks like peanut butter chips on top, too.

And now for the main event: all the new Pillsbury cookies coming to shelves near you.

In my household, this isn’t a roundup of new cookies—it’s a roundup of edible cookie dough. None of these are making it to the oven. But it’s cute of them to try.

Apple Pie Cookie Dough: Eat-or-bake cookie dough with graham flavored pieces, dried apples, and whole grain oats. Out of every new cookie I’ve seen on this list, this is the one I’m *personally* most excited for.
Red, White & Blue Cookie Dough: Eat-or-bake cookie dough with red and blue sprinkles to celebrate July 4th.
Blueberry Crumble Big Cookies: Eat-or-bake cookie dough (big edition) with graham flavored pieces, blueberry flavored crumbles, whole grain oats, and white confectionery drops.
Mini Soft Baked Strawberry Toaster Strudel Cookies: These are exclusively coming to Sam’s Club… for now. A Costco girlie can dream. They’re mini sugar cookies with strawberry chips and icing drizzle. (Also, these are actual packaged cookies, not cookie dough, just FYI.)
Soccer Shape Sugar Cookie Dough: Eat-or-bake cookie dough shaped like soccer balls.
Spider-Man Shape Sugar Cookie Dough: Eat-or-bake cookie dough shaped like Spiderman (it’s really giving those cursed Spiderman popsicles in the best way).
