If you have kids in your life, or have simply been anywhere near the internet the last 12 months (which we’re guessing you have, considering that you’re reading this article), then you’ve likely been unable to escape the clutches of “KPop Demon Hunters.” The movie and its songs were completely unstoppable, and eventually, it made its way to the food world in the form of brand collabs. Shortly after a KPop Demon Hunters Cinnamon Toast Crunch dropped this February, we heard that McDonald’s was releasing two official Demon Hunters meals. We probably don’t need to tell you that people were excited. We definitely were.

Now, even more people are going to be able to experience these meals, as they’re going up, up, up… to Canada. The McDonald’s KPop Demon Hunters meals are dropping in the country next month. Here’s what you need to know.
A Golden Offer Under The Golden Arches
News of the Demon Hunters-themed meals making their way to Canada dropped on the official McDonald’s Canada Instagram page, with the caption “u asked, we listened.” The post also revealed that they’d be dropping on May 12, for what we assume is a limited time, but we have no sense yet of how limited it’ll be.
Although the post didn’t include any actual menu information, we can reasonably assume that the meals will be the same as the ones in the US. Currently, there are two options for Demon Hunters fans at McDonald’s: The HUNTRIX Meal and the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal. The former contains a 10-pack of McNuggets, a sweet chili Hunter Sauce, a purple spicy mustard Demon Sauce, a medium soft drink, and Ramyeon McShaker Fries, which are coated with a ramyeon-inspired seasoning blend. The latter, meanwhile, has a Spicy Saja McMuffin, hash browns, and a soft drink.
We’d imagine that McDonald’s Canada will also get the Derpy McFlurry, named after the shock-blue tiger in the film, which is made with vanilla soft serve, wild berry sauce, and berry popping pearls. Crucially, these are not kids meals, and so you don’t get a toy with them – but they do come with collectible card packs. You wouldn’t leave those out for Canadian customers, now would you, McDonald’s?
And Are These Meals Any Good?
Well, Canadian McDonald’s fans will be pleased to hear that they are pretty good. Don’t get us wrong, the KPop Demon Hunter meals aren’t exactly mindblowing: When we taste-tested the HUNTRIX Meal, we found that the Demon Sauce was slightly lacking, and the Spicy Saja Sauce in the breakfast meal didn’t exactly break the mold. However, those ramyeon fries are pretty tasty, and how wrong can you go with a Sausage McMuffin?
Let’s be honest, though: If you’re getting one of these meals, you’re probably not doing it for a next-level dining experience. You’re doing it because you like the film. And we think that’s just fine.
