Cinco de Mayo is around the corner and, curiously, everyone’s favorite European grocery chain is going all out to celebrate. Hey, Cinco de Mayo isn’t REALLY a big deal in Mexico anyway, so hey, why should we North Americans gatekeep a holiday that’s basically an excuse to drink Margaritas and eat a ton of Mexican food? When you’re doing your weekly shopping at Aldi, keep an eye out for churros, mini tacos, spicy fruit bars, and more.

Casa Mamita Mini Tacos (4/22; $5.99)
I’ve never met a mini taco that I didn’t love. Heck, they’re even my go to at 7-Eleven (much to the chagrin of my friends and family). I’m sure they’ll be happy to know that Aldi is bringing back their own mini tacos to satiate my gremlin cravings. They’re spoiling us with three varieties: beef, chicken, or southwest veggie.

Casa Mamita Layered Tostada (4/22; $3.89)
You could call this Aldi’s Mexican Pizza dupe—and it’s definitely cheaper than the real deal (which somehow costs $6.99 at this point). Keep it around for those drunk nights when you don’t want to spend a small fortune on GrubHub delivery fees. I’ll be available in both chicken and beef varieties.

Clancy’s Cinnamon Churros (4/22; $1.39)
Another Taco Bell-inspired food from Aldi. And I gotta say, $1.39 for anything these days is a steal, but especially for a whole bag of cinnamon churro twists. Eat them right out of the bag or crunch them up on some vanilla ice cream if you’re feeling fancy.
Sundae Shoppe Cinnamon Churro Ice Cream Sandwiches (4/22; $4.49)
Whether it’s Cinco de Mayo or a random-ass Tuesday, there’s no wrong time for this one. Aldi’s new Cinnamon Churro Ice Cream Sandwiches combine snickerdoodle cookies and salted caramel ice cream for a really decadent sounding dessert.

Southern Grove Horchata or Spicy Queso Trail Mix (4/22; $4.89)
One’s sweet, one’s spicy—so you might as well get them both because you never know what you’ll be in the mood for. The Spicy Queso Trail Mix has cheesy cashews, jalapeno spiced peanuts, pepper jack cheese crisps, jalapeno cheddar sesame sticks, and what look like mini tortilla chips and Doritos—not exactly the healthiest trail mix in the world, but wow. As for the Horchata Trail Mix, you get spiced pecans, yogurt pretzels, plain roasted cashews, and vanilla-cinnamon glazed almonds. Yum, right?
Sundae Shoppe Mango with Chili Lime or Lemon Fruit Bar (4/22; $3.79)
I could see these going away after Cinco de Mayo, which will be a shame because summer is just starting and I want to eat these suckers all summer long. Both of these look like treats straight from the paletas shop: the mango bars are coated in chile powder and the lemon bars look fresh and zesty. Stock up so you don’t run out before the weather cools down again.
