What’s the best pizza at Costco? Well, that would be the pizza at the snack bar. Like, duh. But that’s not what we’re here to talk about today. Instead, we’re talking about the best Costco pizza to stock your freezer with (although, I suppose those slices would freeze just fine, but we found Costco frozen pizzas beyond cheese and pepperoni that are worth buying).

Costco’s frozen pizza selection can vary by country, region, or even by store. According to some of our YouTube commenters, you can apparently find Giordano’s deep-dish pizzas at some Costco stores. Must be nice! Our local Costco’s pizza selection was a little thin, to be honest: just a few varieties of Kirkland Signature pizza, some singles, a lackluster cauliflower crust pizza, and the tastiest Costco frozen pizza of them all, but you’ll have to read on to see what that is. Here’s how every pizza at our local Costco fared in a recent taste test.

- Milton’s Roasted Vegetable Cauliflower Crust Pizza
-
We’ve had this Milton’s pizza before. At some point, we enjoyed it enough to include it in our ranking of the best frozen cauliflower crust pizzas, but that’s going to change real soon. This frozen pizza—which comes in a 2-pack at Costco—just isn’t very good. The veggies are wet and all of the toppings are unevenly distributed. Half our pizza was practically nude. And frankly, the cauliflower crust itself isn’t anything to write home about. It’s like they added herbs to make up for what would otherwise be a total absence of flavor. There’s a WAY better cauliflower crust pizza on this list. Get that one instead.

- Sabatasso’s Pepperoni French Bread Pizza
-
There aren’t very many French bread pizzas on the market, and these still didn’t make our French bread pizza ranking, which says it all. Yes, maybe Sabatasso’s Pepperoni French bread pizzas are cheaper because you can buy them in bulk, but you’re better off spending a few more bucks and getting Red Baron or Stouffer’s at your usual grocery store. These aren’t terrible (your teenage children will surely devour them without giving it a second thought), but they’re pretty lackluster as Costco frozen pizza goes.

- Kirkland Signature Thin Crust Pepperoni Pizza
-
Kirkland’s pepperoni pizzas and cheese pizzas are basically tied, but the cheese pizza gets the edge because it’s more versatile. Plus, the sauce on this pepperoni pizza isn’t nearly as tasty as the sauce on the Kirkland cheese pizza (and there isn’t as much of it either), but it has a nice thin crust and lots of very flavorful pepperoni that are nicely distributed across the pie. Could the peps be a touch spicier? Certainly. But this is good all the same.

- Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizza
-
Kirkland cheese pizza is good—and DAMN it is CHEAP. Here in L.A., a 4-pack of these Costco frozen pizzas is $14.67. That’s $3.66 per pizza. That’s incredible—and why it’s ranked on our list of the best cheap frozen pizzas. Plus, the sauce is tangy and umami, there’s plenty of cheese, and the crust is puffy in that nostalgic frozen pizza way (it’s got DiGiorno vibes). It’s not a life-changer, but what do you want for $3.66?? Fix this up with the toppings of your choice and that’s dinner, baby.

- Sabatasso’s Pizza Singles Variety Pack
-
Placing these so high up on the list is a little controversial. To be perfectly honest, these little singles are barely like pizzas, but their utility won us over. You get six little pepperoni pizzas and six little cheese pizzas for the bargain price of $11.88, and you’ll want a lot of them around because they really are the perfect after-school snack. The soft, chew crusts have raised edges, so you can really pile these little suckers with toppings. I’d absolutely buy these again.

- Kirkland Signature Supreme Cauliflower Crust Pizza
-
This is our #1 favorite cauliflower crust pizza and it’s also one of the best Costco frozen pizzas. It’s loaded with meats and veggies, and all the flavors blend perfectly. I love the big pieces of juicy mushroom—extremely umami and not so wet it’s gross. Along with cauliflower, the crust is made with cheese, so it has a really pleasant chew that keeps you coming back for bite after bite. These come in a 2-pack, but I would buy them in a 4-pack if I could.

- Pizza Roncadin Mushroom & Truffle Pizza
-
Hate mushrooms? Sorry, but you’re REALLY going to hate the best Costco frozen pizza. It’s loaded with mushrooms and has a rich truffle flavor that actually complements the garlic creme sauce base rather than making the whole thing taste strange or astringent. I’m a mushroom freak, but honestly, the crust might be my favorite part of this pizza. It’s SO tender and well seasoned. This really tastes like a pizza from a restaurant. Buy it if you sees it!
