Gifts are great. But you know what’s also great? Free food. I mean, you have to be careful, because not all moms appreciate being dragged to your local chain restaurant on Mother’s Day just so the family can take advantage of a BOGO. But some moms (my future self included, probably) want to indulge in their fast food faves and exploit every possible deal that corporate America has to offer during Mother’s Day weekend. As long as—and this part is crucial—they also get a fancy steak dinner and a bouquet of roses by the end of it.

That said, some of these Mother’s Day restaurant “deals” floating around are just depressing. Like, I think we can do better than a 1-topping pizza for $20, Peter Piper and Round Table Pizza. (I don’t care if it’s shaped like a heart. 1-topping? Really? You’re gonna disrespect your mothers like that?) I’m not going to recommend a deal I think is actually a little offensive to moms out there, okay? Capiche? Comprende? Good.
So without further ado, here are the best Mother’s Day deals you can find this upcoming weekend that are actually worth her time. Mama wants a box of free fried chicken? Mama gets a box of free fried chicken.
