Halloween M&M’s Are Dropping Early—Here’s What You Can Buy This Summer

Happy Halloween! “Ariana, it’s May.” You’re right. Happy SUMMERWEEN! “Ariana, it’s still spring.” You’re right again. Now shut up and let me talk. Mars (the company, not the planet) just dropped a whole asteroid belt worth of new Halloween candy on us, including new Skittles, new Twix, new Snickers… and new M&Ms. I’m strictly here to discuss the new and returning Halloween M&Ms, okay? I have priorities in life, and I gotta stick to ’em.

These are the Halloween M&Ms returning this year: 

M&Ms Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie: Pumpkin Pie M&Ms are here to stay, people. And even though we gave them an okay-but-not-stunning review the first time we tried them, I’m not even a little bit mad that this seasonal flavor is sticking around. I adore the concept. I just wish they would tweak the recipe a bit to add more warm spices. That is all. A girl can dream.

M&Ms Halloween Blends in Milk Chocolate, Peanut, and Peanut Butter: It’s not Halloween unless I’m snooping through the practically empty CVS candy aisle trying to decide which bag of black and orange M&Ms I want to buy. (It’s Peanut. I tell myself I’ll buy something different, but it’s always Peanut.) 

Plus, we’re getting a brand new M&Ms variety mix!

The new variety mix is… everbody say it out loud with me…

M&Ms Fun Size Minis Variety Mix with Milk Chocolate and Peanut Butter: Rolls right off the tongue, doesn’t it? “Fun size,” if you need a refresher, means the M&Ms come in tiny, appropriately-portioned bags that are roughly the size of toddler’s palm. They are a trick-or-treat bowl’s best friend. This new mix features Milk Chocolate and Peanut Butter (sorry, Peanut) M&Ms in their crisp, Mini-fied form. The kids are gonna go wild for ’em. I can see it now.

You can find these on shelves as soon as this summer. 

The entire Mars Halloween lineup for 2026 will hit shelves and online stores in just mere months. We don’t have an exact date, though, so just keep an eye out. (“Happy Summerween” makes a little more sense now, huh?)

Wait, so we’re not getting a new flavor of M&Ms for Halloween? 

I mean, probably not, but it’s only May. Let’s give Mars a minute to cook and check back in closer to fall. (They had a really busy year in 2025, so I’m giving them a grace period here.) But we are getting a new Halloween Twix shape and brand new Skittles Pop’d Halloween flavor, and I think that’s beautiful. Okay, toodles!!
