Are you ready to feel nostalgia, people? Well, get in line, because there’s going to be a lot of it this summer – and that’s all thanks to Toy Story 5. Come June 19, the iconic toy movie franchise will drop its latest instalment, and we suspect it will be causing grown adults to weep in the aisles of the theaters it’s showing in. I only have to think about the end of Toy Story 3, and I start welling up, so I’m its target audience. But I digress.

As you’d probably expect from a major movie release focused on toys, we’re about to see a lot of tie-ins – and one of the earliest to arrive is one with Bazooka Candy Brands, the maker of Push Pops, Baby Bottle Pops, and Juicy Drop Pops. Introducing the new Toy Story 5 editions of these candy brands, available now.
Let’s All Feel Like Kids Again
Over the next few weeks, Push Pops, Baby Bottle Pops, and Juicy Drop Pops will all have limited-edition versions featuring Toy Story characters on the front, including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Rex. “It’s a rare cross-generational moment: the parents who grew up on the franchise can now share it with their children through a treat both generations already know and love,” said our source. There’s nothing like limited-edition candy to bring families together, honestly.
These new pops will be available in the following flavors:
• Baby Bottle Pops will come in Berry Blast, Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, and Watermelon, all with Toy Story 5 livery.
• Juicy Drop Pops will give us Blue Rebel, Knock-Out Punch, Strawberry Watermelon, and Wild Berry Cherry.
• Jumbo Push Pops with a Toy Story twist will be arriving in Blue Raspberry, Fruit Punch, Strawberry, and Cherry Watermelon. Truly something for everyone!
Just Tell Me Where I Can Find Them!
Okay, okay, okaaaaay. These new candies will be available at stores around the country, with retailers like Walmart, Food Lion, Circle K, EG America, Sheetz, Stop & Shop, and Walgreens all stocking them. Once the film’s out of movie theaters, they won’t stick around for much longer – but you can start buying them now, so stock up while you can. We expect that these will become collector’s items about 30 years from now.
Bazooka Candy Brands may be coming in early with its collaboration, but it’s not the earliest company to announce one. Back in April, Kellogg’s announced that it was collab’ing with Toy Story 5, by including real-life toys in its cereal boxes once more. Yay! Papa Johns has also teamed up with Pixar to make some themed pizzas in honor of the film. We have no doubt that there will be more to come.
