Freddy’s Is Launching 13 Straight Weeks of New Custard Drops

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers fans are about to have a big summer. We haven’t been talking about this chain as much as some of the others out there this year (we’re looking at you, Taco Bell), but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been busy – and part of its busyness has been behind the scenes. Freddy’s has been prepping its Summer Custard Tour, in which it’ll be dropping new frozen custard flavors for 13 consecutive weeks. That tour kicks off on June 1.

And no, before you ask – it’s not like an actual tour, as far as we can see…these will just be rotating menu items each week. But calling it a tour is way more fun. Anyway, here’s what it’s serving.

Freddy’s Custard Tour

Week by week, the custard flavors that Freddy’s is dropping are as follows:

June 1 – 7: Rocky Road Sundae, made with chocolate custard, marshmallow, chocolate chips, and pecans.
June 8 – 14: Bananas Foster Shake, with vanilla custard, fresh banana, cinnamon streusel, and caramel.
June 15 – 21: Cookie Dough Overload Concrete – here, we’ve got vanilla custard, two portions of cookie dough pieces, and chocolate chips.
June 22 – 28: Latte Shake – this one’s made with OREO cookies, and features vanilla custard, two OREO cookie portions, and cold brew.
June 29 – July 5: Red White and Blueberry Concrete, which arrives just in time for Independence Day, and which has vanilla custard swirled with strawberries and blueberries.
July 6 – 12: PBJ Shake Made With Reese’s, combining vanilla custard, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Reese’s Peanut Butter Sauce, and strawberries.
July 13 – 19: Cherry Cheesecake Concrete — we’re into this one. Chocolate and vanilla custard, strawberries, New York-style cheesecake, and cinnamon streusel.
July 20 – 26: Peanut Butter Cookie Crunch Concrete Made with Reese’s and Real OREO – talk about a mouthful! Vanilla custard, Reese’s Peanut Butter sauce, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and OREOs.
July 27 – Aug 2: Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cheesecake Concrete – chocolate and vanilla custard with strawberries, New York-style cheesecake, and cinnamon streusel. We’d guess that maybe this one has chocolate on top, too, to change it up from the Cherry Cheesecake Concrete from two weeks before?
Aug 3 – 9: Root Beer Float, and we’re back to basics, with vanilla custard and root beer.
Aug 10 – 16: Toffee Pecan Concrete Made With Heath, combining vanilla custard, Heath bar pieces, pecans, and caramel.
Aug 17 – 23: Peanut Butter Brownie Concrete Made with Butterfinger – into the home stretch now with a vanilla custard combined with a double portion of Butterfinger pieces and a whole chocolate brownie.
Aug 24 – 30: Banana Split Sundae – finishing off with a classic. Vanilla custard, fresh banana, strawberries, and hot fudge.
