To say that we’ve heard a lot from Blue Bell this year would be an understatement. The ice cream brand has been churning (hehe, sorry, I had to) out new flavors, and bringing back fan favorites, at a near-constant lick (again, sorry! It’s too easy) in 2026. It began with the news of its protein ice cream and new Honey Vanilla flavor back in January, before we jumped to the return of Dr Pepper Float Ice Cream and Tin Roof. And then, it brought out Brookie À La Mode, which absolutely, indisputably, unequivocally, rocked.

And just when we were sitting back and thinking “okay, maybe Blue Bell is doing a little too much,” it brings out yet another new product – and we’re reminded, once more, that you can never have too much ice cream. Introducing its Black Raspberry Fudge flavor.
Blue Bell Black Raspberry Fudge
Just in time for summer, Blue Bell announced Black Raspberry Fudge on its Instagram, and we, and other fans, flocked to it like hungry, ice cream-starved birds. This dessert is a combo of black raspberry-flavored ice cream, with dark chocolate-flavored chunks mixed in – and it’s finished with a swirl of chocolate fudge. Utterly delightful, if you ask me.
Black Raspberry Fudge is in stores now (as ever, you can find it using Blue Bell’s product locator), and it’s available in half-gallon and pint sizes. It’s a limited-time flavor, so delay at your peril! Black Raspberry Fudge also jumps on a trend we’ve been seeing throughout 2026 of berry-chocolate combinations – which are nothing new, but which have definitely had an uptick in the last few months, with products from the likes of Hershey’s, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Nature’s Path all bringing the two flavor profiles together.
And Is It Any Good?
Oh, it is any good (that phrase definitely isn’t quite correct on a grammatical level, but you know what I mean). Early taste-testers have come out in droves on the Instagram post announcing the ice cream to confirm that Blue Bell has done it again. “This needs to be a permanent addition because it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had,” said one person, with others describing it as “amazing,” “delicious,” “tasty,” and in generally superlative tones.
Elsewhere, as it custom with these things, fans also asked Blue Bell to consider bringing back some other favorites — Butter Crunch is a particularly heavily requested one. Ball’s in your court, Blue Bell.
