Oils are becoming sauces. Sauces are becoming hot honey. Everything’s changing, and we’re just rolling with the times, people. This year, we’ve already seen a couple of major examples of brands diversifying their condiment-related output: Graza announcing that it was making mayo at the start of the year made us all in a tizz, given how big a (collective) fan we are of the olive oil. And now, our favorite avo oil is making the leap, too, with a spicy dipping sauce arriving just in time for BBQ season. Shall we discuss? I guess we should, huh?

Chosen Foods Chili Dipping Sauce: Get Your Flavor On
Yesterday, Chosen Foods announced in a press release that it was dropping its new Chili Dipping Sauce, following the success of its avocado oil and its other condiments. It’s not the first sauce that Chosen Foods has put out: The brand already has a Chicken Sauce and a Burger Sauce. Its Chili Dipping Sauce, though, takes things up a notch on the heat front (and fits in with the trend we’ve seen this year towards creamy spicy sauces). Made with chili pepper, garlic, and pear juice – and, as you’d expect, avocado oil – it’s making a strong play to replace its Chicken Sauce for dipping your tenders in.
We’ve got high hopes for this one. Last year, we voted Chosen Foods 100% Pure Avocado Oil our favorite of all the avo oils out there, praising its neutral flavor and quality. Its other sauces have also got good reviews across the board from customers, with people praising their balance and punchy taste (and the Chicken Sauce is a great dupe for Chick-fil-A’s version). So, tentatively, we’re excited.
Where Can I Get It?
Well, pleasingly, you can find it fairly widely. Chosen Foods Chili Dipping Sauce will be available at select Walmart stores across the country, and you can also grab it on Amazon. It’ll also be available at Sprouts, and more retailers will start stocking it as the year rolls on. If all else fails, you can purchase it on the Chosen Foods website (although it doesn’t seem like it’s listed there as of today, but we’d imagine it wouldn’t be long now). It’ll retail at around $5.98 per bottle, although prices may vary from store to store.
