The soccer stuff just keeps on coming! We thought that now that the World Cup is quite literally happening, people would ease off on the soccer-themed deals, collabs, and foods – but nope, the tournament is the gift that keeps on giving. That gift, incidentally, isn’t just for food companies finding ways to get customers in; it’s also for customers themselves. Chipotle recently gave away BOGO entrées to customers wearing soccer jerseys, and now, Jack In The Box is launching a jersey of their own, which will be a must for merch-heads.

It’s also working with a pretty iconic streetwear brand to do it. Here’s the deal.
Jack In The Box x The Hundreds
Jack In The Box has just announced their second collaboration with LA streetwear brand The Hundreds, and the two are launching a vintage soccer-inspired collection as a continuation of the restaurant’s 75th birthday celebrations. This collab follows the two brands’ earlier team-up, which Jack In The Box says was a big hit. “The response to our first collaboration with The Hundreds made it clear that fans are hungry for new ways to connect with us,” said Jack In The Box’s VP of brand marketing, Sheena Dougher, in a press release. “This next drop lets us tap into a community rooted in passion, identity and self-expression.”
It also lets them tap into the summer of soccer without being too explicit about it. Jack In The Box and The Hundreds’ collaboration isn’t expressly billed as a World Cup (or World Cup-themed) collab, but let’s be honest: The timing feels right, doesn’t it? Particularly as the collection dropped on June 16, just ahead of Team USA’s match in Los Angeles.
So What Are They Selling?
There are three merch items on offer here. First is the Jack Jersey, a football jersey coming in two colors: purple and white. Then, there’s the Jack Team SnapBack, a white and purple five-panel cap. Normally, I’m not a huge fan of restaurant-branded merch, but this collection feels cool and understated. I’m into it.
You can find this collection on The Hundreds’ website. As the first collection was a sell-out, though, you might want to move quickly; I spied that some small sizes are already unavailable online. Jack In The Box is clearly in the collaborating spirit this year: Alongside these merch items, it’s also recently announced a collaboration with Hot Ones. We love team spirit.
