There’s no doubt about it, summer is ice cream season. It’s one of my very favorite parts about the summer―the unanimously guilt-free approach to unlimited daily ice cream consumption. Not that I limit my ice cream intake to the summertime, but the heat sure does seem like a good excuse to enjoy one of my favorite treats. At this point, my freezer basically has an embarrassing amount of ice cream varieties tucked away in each and every available space. And unfortunately for me, that problem isn’t gonna go away anytime soon because Whole Foods just began its once-a-year ice cream fest. Clear your freezers folks, it’s time to stock up on the best that Whole Foods has to offer.

What’s The Deal?
Listen, I know what you’re thinking. No sale at Whole Foods actually even saves you that much money because the prices are so high to start out with―and regardless, their deals are hard to come by. Generally, I would agree with you. But with this deal, they did not hold back. To Amazon Prime members, in-store ice cream purchases are 50% off. Whether you’re getting one pint or 15, everything is 50% off.
It applies to nontraditional ice cream types as well, like ice cream bars, Trü Frü, and even the viral Fruit Riot varieties. The deal, especially for Whole Foods standards, feels too good to be true. But I checked it out myself and it’s no lie. Premium ice creams like Jeni’s and Van Leeuwen are at prices that I have never seen this low. But even the Whole Foods market varieties are on sale too, which means they’re under two dollars a pint.
If you’re not an Amazon Prime member and aren’t looking to start up anytime soon, I have good news for you, too. The sale is only a 6% difference for a non-Prime members. 44% off of all ice creams available at Whole Foods is still pretty dang good if you ask me… good enough to stock up on a few of your faves at least.
The deal spans from June 24th to July 7th, so you should have ample time to run and grab the pints you’re looking forward to most. And, best of all, I think I have my dessert course for the Fourth of July all figured out now. Premium ice creams in the sunshine sound great to me.
