It’s gonna be a busy week for retailers. July 4 is barreling towards us at the speed of a runaway train, and grocery and convenience stores across the US are doing their level best to get you through their doors and spend your hard-earned money in ‘em. Kroger, Publix, 7-Eleven, and pretty much every other chain around are offering exclusive deals and items – and Circle K’s the latest to jump on board.

The convenience store is vying for your business, though, using a language we can all understand: Fountain beverages. Discounted ones, to be precise. Let’s check out what’s going on.
Circle K July 4 Offers
This year, and specifically tomorrow, July 1, Circle K’s celebrating July 4 by offering 25-cent Polar Pops to its customers. Head into one of its stores tomorrow, and you can get a Polar Pop in any size for that low, low price, according to its press release. The only catch is that you have to be an Inner Circle member (ie, signed up to its Rewards scheme); if you’re not, sign up before you head in, grab your drink, and go…
Well, after you get some MERCH, that is! Alongside its discounted Polar Pops, Circle K is offering limited-edition Polar Pop-themed hats and shirts at participating locations. You can get them for $11 each, or grab two for $20. “The Polar Pop is a Circle K staple that has been our customers’ favorite way to cool off summer after summer — and now we want to give them a wearable way to show their love,” said Circle K’s senior vice president of US food & retail, Trey Powell, in a statement. “And this year, with America turning 250, there’s never been more to celebrate.”
Is That All?
Well, that’s all for the July 4-specific stuff – but Circle K’s also launching a new game! Starting tomorrow and running through September 1, you can play Scratch & Win in its app, a new daily game that offers instant prizes. You can play once a day and win Polar Pops, drinks, merch – and if you’re an Inner Circle member, you might be able to win up to $25,000 in cash. Reason enough to download an app and sign up? I’ll leave that one to your judgment and assessment as to how much storage you have on your phone — and remember that you can turn those push notifications aaaaallll the way off.
